Brabantia ReNewToilet Brush & Holder Set (Matt Black) Free-Standing, Non-Slip/Scratch Base, Hygenic Discreet Toilet Bowl Cleaner

This does not even deserve one star. I bought 2 of these and they have both gone badly rusty on the inside of the holder. They are all fit for the bin. Completely useless and disgusting especially considering it is an expensive Brabantia product. Not only is this unsightly but it has left rusty circles underneath the holder on my tile floors. It cannot possibly be described as CORROSION RESISTANT! See photos...Update Dec 2019: I was told by Brabantia customer services to only use NON CHEMICAL based environmentally friendly toilet cleaners with my replacement Brabantia toilet brushes and almost two years later this seems to have worked. Not a bit of rust. Fine it works, but what is the point of toilet brushes that can't be used with regular toilet cleaner????

I purchased the Matt Black as it was described in the technical details section as stainless steel, no other material is mentioned. What I received is entirely plastic, which is inherently corrosion resistant, so misleading to use that phrase on a non metal product.I complained to Amazon, the first live chat assistant wasn't helpful at all, trying to tell me the brush has a stainless steel handle, which the version I bought does not. Fortunately that assistant's connection dropped and the next assistant was super helpful, organised a refund/return and gave me a £10 voucher to be used on next purchase, by way of compensation.Hopefully Amazon will now sort out the descriptions as there are multiple different version, using different materials. In the meantime, check product description very throughly before ordering.

Brabantia Toilet Brush with Holder - Classic Brilliant Steel I have had a white version of this toilet brush for years and decided to replace it with a chrome version as the white one had been excellent. I checked the ratings and found some very negative reviews, but I thought there are always some bad ones and surely it can't be that bad. Well what a mistake, this is the very worst Brabantia product I have ever purchased 5/05/18. It started to rust after about a week and although I have polished it several times since the rust just keeps coming back, so now I have to check it on a daily basis. I would not recommend this product to anybody it is absolute rubbish and I don't know how they dare sell it it's so bad. Brabantia Toilet Brush with Holder - Classic Brilliant Steel

EDIT: Since using this for a few months it has started to rust which is not what I would expect from this brand and price bracket.Looks good but given the price it is a bit fiddly to put the brush back in and leads to water droplets dripping on the floor which isn't very hygienic. It is a high quality, sturdy item but just fiddly to get the brush in position.

I've not had a bad Brabantia product yet and this one is no exception. The fact the brush sits out of the base so that can dry is a big plus for me. I also can't believe I just rated a toilet brush. I do need to get out more.
