No it’s not heavy on fine thin hair.

Q: To all the curly haired folks, is this product line comparable to Dry Remedy??

I’m not sure on the dry remedy! I have curly hard to manage frizz This is great for dryness as I have colored hair! I use two times monthly for deep conditioning and every day in shower for quick smoothness

Q: Is this product the same product that is sold in an Aveda salon, or has it been altered to sell on Amazon?

In my experience of the product it has the same quality. I can not answer your question about it being the same.
