Green Day Rockband (PAL)

This game is great if you like a few of Green Days songs. I never really knew many of their first few songs and after playing this game I know a few more than before. The songs from this game have a variaty of difficult for the songs.(Some easy and some hard [Playing Expert]) Some if not all songs can be imported into the other Rock Band games which makes your setlist in the other games bigger and better. The game is very enjoyable to play like the other Rock Band games but after you have completed all the chapters and challenges there isnt much replay value, Unless you have friends that you can play with every so often. For people that love Green Day will love this game if they enjoy music type games, also has a few bonus videos you can unlock and more. If you only like/know a few Green Day songs you may enjoy this game if music type games are your thing, but if they are not your favourite band then you may what to give this a miss.I did enjoy playing this game alot but after completing the chapters and challeges there is not much replay value hence the 4 stars.

Green Day: Rock Band is fun. Plenty of good tunes, brought back the vocal harmony thing which The Beatles: Rock Band added, and is all around great to play. Buying it new means getting a code to export the soundtrack into your main Rock Band / 2 / 3 library, which was the main reason I bought it. If you're not into Green Day, but just want a huge track pack, then I can recommend this game for you simply on the basis that Drums and Bass get some incredible charts to play. Guitar can be a little stale at times, but there a plenty of great tunes. Vocal Harmonys also make for great fun if you can get the singers. Only area it falls down is the menu screen. It all feels slow and unwieldy compared to the core titles. The 'make a band' screen especially; it only takes a second or two, but still manages to feel inconvenient. Apart from that, highly recommended, even over The Beatles: Rock Band where dull charts meant having to be a fan of the music to get into it, as this game is fun enough for anyone else to get into.

This was ok. I would have liked to see some achievements a bit easier to get (think I unlocked one in completing the whole game). Additionally newer content would have been welcome with new album releases. Generally good though. If your a die hard Greenday fan you'll love it.

Wow! Why isn't this game more popular? A balanced and perfect selection of songs with realistic graphics and excellent game play. What more could you want? ALthough the career mode prehaps doesn't have the same sense of progression as other games in the rock band series (Beatles rock band), the indulging and quite frankly 'fun' songs to play make up for it entirely. The collectables and awards also add an alternative feature to the career which really works. I would also strongly recommend buying the drums if you haven't got them because it almost doubles the amount of fun hours to be had on the game. For me, exploreing tre's drum beat arsenal is the best part, and instrument in the game. Nevertheless, the guitar, base an vocals are great as well. Note, the xbox 360 headset does not work, you need to buy a mike. The only other slight frustration, is that all swearing has been taking out of the songs, and any Green Day fan will know, THEY SWEAR A LOT.All in all, a great buy, you don't have to be a Green Day fan to cherish this rare oppurtunity.

Bought this in October but only tried it for the first time this week - The disc won't read - Have tried it in two x-boxes, same thing in both of them.
