Size is closer to 3.75" rather than 3.9". Hopefully it will work for me. But overall quality looks good.

I use these bags for coffee and it's great! This is like my 9th set of bags from Amazon and these are the best! Soft cotton allows the water to flow through it and my coffee grinds gets to seep into delicious rich coffee wonderfulness. Other bags, like the ones that feel more like paper, don't allow the water to freely flow, making you tea or coffee weak. The only possible issue you'd have is if you grind your coffee super small, the grains will seep through the stitching. But unless you're grinding your beans into dust, you're good to go!

... this product works great. I put in parmesan rinds, dried chilis and bay leaves. Adds great flavor and so easy to remove and discard.

The bags are perfect for lots of things, but if you are using them for tea and want to reuse them again, I recommend turning them inside out. WHY? Because the seams are then on the outside and when they are outside they don't trap the tea leaves in the seams making them difficult to rinse out. I just dump out the contents and then turn it so I can flush the remaining contents out. (the leaves aren't trapped in the seams). sounds silly but it works for me.

These are great for spices! I have used them for ground and whole coriander in my water bottle (Ayurvedic healing). I turned them inside out after I am finished abs let them dry so the spices easily fall and brush off. After I hand washed them when was doing dishes. I love that they are reusable (friendlier for the environment), and quite easy to wash.

These bags work well, but do not wash well in a machine. They will fall apart unless you just hand wash & air dry.
