So far I've had this mattress for a week and I'm loving it. I was quite skeptical about buying a mattress online since there's so many to choose from so I opted to pull the trigger on a bed that had the best rating in the price range I was looking for. So biting the bullet I opted for this bed and prepared for the worse and hoped for the best. Again this is my review from owning and sleeping on my bed for a week now and will probably update this in the future, if I feel it is needed. My mattress is sitting on an IKEA Malm frame.Unpacking the bed is just as expected. Unbox carefully, unroll mattress, cut the film and let it expand. The bed states the size is 8 inches which in the center it is but going towards the edges it was a little less. I let the bed expand for a full weekend before sleeping on it and in the end it was about 2 inches higher than my bed frame when sitting on slats. There's a bit of a warehouse/chemical smell which I personally didnt find overwhelming but for someone sensitive to smells it might be. The Aloe Vera cover is really nice. I unintentionally fell asleep on my bed after letting it expand and I will say it felt like I was laying on my microfiber sheets. All in all I'm pretty happy with my purchase, again I'll update this if any thing happens like on other mattresses where they just cave in or grow mold so hopefully this is the last of my postings on this mattress :)UPDATE 3/15/17So I've owned this mattress for a little over 5 month's now. It's still holding up good and as still just as comfortable as when I bought it. It's fully expanded and fits perfectly, it's very cool to the body throughout the night, and it no longer has that "Chemical smell"I would suggest that if you put it on a frame like my IKEA Malm bed, make sure your slats are in good shape. if one of your slats go bad your mattress will sink in that spot.

I was first thrown off by the fact that there is Aloe Vera in the bed, but from what I understand, its in the cover. The mattress arrived in a thinner box, and when we slid out the mattress, it was completely new, and in plastic, and flat, like a pancake. The best way, we have found, to "unleash the memory foam mattress beast", is to have the bed frame completely set up and in place, then place the mattress in plastic, right side up, onto the new bed frame. As it begins to expand when you cut open the plastic, you will not have to wrestle with the bed to put it in place, and sometimes these are very heavy, and awkward to grab. So by laying it on the frame, then opening up the plastic, you just slide the plastic off and its in place. This bed only took about 2 hours to completely expand, and it was beautiful. The bed is firm, but if they are too flimsy, they sink in when you sit on them. This one is firm, but not uncomfortable to sleep on.My daughter loves this bed, and she sleeps well every night. It is holding up great, and we don't have any issues with it smelling at all. We also live in a humid hot place and so far there hasn't been any issue keeping cool, I know these types of mattresses can retain a lot of heat. We plan on ordering another one soon, this one has worked out great.

Best mattress I have ever had first memory foam bed but it helps my back so much since I have disc problem not with my new mattress sleep like a baby and yea it had a strong smell when I opened it stay for awhile but smell will go away with in a week I got so use to the smell I started loving the smell and I think when bed may get stinky the bed lets the smell come out again so it like it cleans the smell cause of the aloa Vera stuff in it buy this please do best money spent hubby always saying this mattress is amazing we had are for about two month so happy and it stay ferm and works with your shape wow just wow wow great quality I couldn't ask for more it supports my body so well and hubby's to and he is bigger then me but perfect bed worth every penny get get get your love it I know I do

I have 3 bulging disks in my back and was looking for a very firm mattress. This is labeled as extra firm but is the absolute opposite. I can easily put my hand on the edge and fully compress it down from 8 inches to about one and a half just from squeezing my hand shut. My box spring has metal slats that go horizontally across and I can instantly feel each one through the mattress when I lay down. This may work out for me as I'm going to cut a piece of wood to lay over my box spring. With how soft and squishy this "extra firm" mattress is, it may just feel like sleeping on the floor with a thick blanket. I did measure and it is much closer to 6" as opposed to 8"

I haven’t had my mattress for very long, and all of a sudden yesterday I noticed a bunch of really small straight, and clear splinter looking bits popping out from my mattress and stuck all over my sheets. It was irritating my skin and making me very itchy. I noticed it was coming from the mattress and now my sheets are covered and ruined. Not quite sure what it is but definitely a little upsetting that I now have to get a new mattress, And new sheets. Not sure what the deal is. Aside from this, it was extremely comfortable. But this just ruined it

This is my go-to mattress every time I need a new one or move. It's so comfortable and feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. I recommend this mattress to everyone from Amazon and my parents even bought one!

Didn't ever expand all the way. Still had about 3 inches to go after sitting for 4 days. Assuming it's not going to anymore. Wouldn't exactly recommend unless you are financially in a bind or something.
