Fit my 1990 f450 7.3 idi
You just unplug the bottom sensor out of the two piece filter and leave it hang, it's just a water in fuel sensor. This filter has water separator with a drain so it's not needed anymore.

1993 f350 7.3 IDI
This will replace the fuel element for the 7.3 IDI diesel motor. The factory has a metal bowl for the water separator but this is just a spin on version with the water separator built in

Never had a problem with these filters I run wmo/wvo in my truck and this filter does a good job protecting my engine

Good fuel filter for 6.9 IDI / 7.3 IDI
Works well on my 1994 7.3 IDI diesel. Holds a LOT of fuel (about a quart), so plan for that if you're going to pre-fill it with transmission fluid or something.
