I dont have any negatives about this product. For what you are paying for it, you really are getting a lot for the price.I mainly decided to buy it as I wanted to keep an eye on my cats when I was away from home, it is really good at motion tracking too.I have to say the audio quality can be a wee bit spotty however thats just not something thats a deal breaker for me when it's about the image on the screen and motion tracking.It has nightvision too, which does automatically adjust to the room brightness. Often I find if there is lights on in the room it can be too bright for the camera and will give it a bit of glare so remember to turn those lights off at nightmare to get the best footage of your furrballs 🤣🐈

Easy to set up, easy to use, very clear video on mobile when in use.I purchased one of these indoor cameras to keep an eye on my dogwhile we were out.Happily she settles quickly and doesn't seem overly concerned aboutbeing alone. Now, that's great but I now have a security camera I canuse when we go out, a camera to keep an eye on the garden for anyintruders and anything else I need.Yes it's indoor only but works happily on a windowsill pointing out.For the cost I'm very happy with this camera and if anything thenumber of notifications I get when movement is detected justshows how good it is. I can even add more to the system ifrequired.It has more uses than I can think of so if you can think of yourown then get this one, you won't be dissappointed.

I set up the Tapo TC70 as a general-purpose indoor camera-mostly to keep an eye on the dog and check in on the house when I'm out. It's a budget-friendly pan/tilt camera with no subscription required, and it's handled things well so far.What I liked:Clear video quality - The 1080p feed is sharp enough to see fine detail. Day or night, the image is reliable, and the night vision has decent range.Full room coverage - The 360° pan and 114° tilt let me scan the whole room from my phone. Smooth movement, no lag.No monthly fees - I use a microSD card for storage (not included), so I'm not tied to a subscription. Local recording works fine.AI detection is solid - It alerts me when there's movement, and the app lets me customise detection zones. Pet and human detection both worked as expected.Easy setup - Took about five minutes to connect it to Wi-Fi and the Tapo app. Works with both Alexa and Google Assistant.Minor downsides:No battery option - It has to stay plugged in, so placement is limited by socket access.App can be slow at times - Occasionally takes a few seconds to load the live feed.MicroSD not included - Not a huge deal, but you'll need to buy one if you want local storage.Final thoughts:The Tapo TC70 is a solid, budget-friendly indoor camera. It delivers on picture quality, coverage, and motion alerts without forcing you into a subscription. Definitely worth it if you just need simple home monitoring.

My daughters bought this to keep an eye on their guinea pigs in their run at home. We refer to it as Guinea cam. We don’t want it for anything else than having a Quick Look at our pets whilst we are out, it does exactly what we need it to. I’ve never had a problem with connectivity, the picture quality is good and my husband said it was easy enough to put together. We just have it running S a live stream so I couldn’t comment on storage capacity. I’ve included a picture screenshot of the quality of image, this is the room in night mode during the day it is all lit up and in full colour etc

Great product for the price. Was looking for something to monitor cats whilst away over night, but also alert me to any activity in our property in Spain.Useful features include : -* easy setup - literally took 5 mins.* Alert notificiations* Night vision* Pan and tilt* Person tracking - ie camera follows detected motion* no requirement for a subscription - simply insert a microSD card for detected motion to be recorded to that for future playback.* 30 day free use of cloud recordings to trial - no need to provide credit card details as per other trial subscriptions.* mounting options* two way audio - from your smart device* ability to integrate with other smart devices....e.g. motion detected then switch light on. etconly gripes : -Slightly bulkier device than the camera it was replacing (although it did not have tilt / pan capabilities)pan functionality is great - almost 360 degrees however tilt not so therefore when placing the camera up high (on a book shelf for example) you will lose some of the field of view.

Bought to monitor our new puppy. Easy to set up with the Tapo app. Straightforward to set up zones and alerts - I had it set up to alert me when the puppy woke up from her naps so I could get to her before she wrought too much destruction. We now have it set up to monitor the room she sleeps and and it means we can check on her in the night without getting out of bed (it has night vision). It also integrates with your Alexa devices so if you’ve got an Echo Show or Fire TV you can just say “show me x camera” to get a live feed on your screen. We bought a micro SD card so we can see what she was up to in the night too as it doesn’t have any in-built memory. It is quite big and obstrusive.

It does the work perfectly well, captures the room and calls are perfectly clear. At night, the vision is clear making you see targeted objects and images. The privacy setting is also superb as I get to turn off videos if I don’t want anything to show
