Krieger + Söhne Shampoo

My son has very dry skin that is also sensitive. He has had dandruff since he was a baby. He is now 18, and we have tried a plethora of dandruff shampoos including Rx shampoos. Although some helped, he always had some dandruff, and most left his hair either greasy or dull and lifeless. I saw this shampoo on Amazon, and decided to give it a try. I figured at least the mint would make his hair smell good. Well, not only does it smell great, it is also shiny, full and beautiful. Best part of all, for the first time in his life, he does not have dandruff. This shampoo has done what no other shampoo has ever done, and has also left his hair in the best condition it has ever been in. He is now wearing his hair longer (he always kept it short to help control the dandruff) and has reported the girls are constantly finding excuses to run their fingers through his hair. As his mother, that last "benefit" doesn't exactly thrill me, but I can understand how that would make an 18 year old boy happy! Anyway, I can only report what this shampoo has done for him, and as far as we are concerned it is a fantastic shampoo that I'm sure he will keep using!!!

I don't have dandruff or any other scalp issues. I also don't use conditioner, as my hair is naturally oil-balanced and healthy.I bought two 8 oz. bottles about a year ago. I retired from my traveling job, about 150 days a year in hotels, which let me snag little hotel shampoo bottles to meet my shampoo requirements at home. When I ran out of that supply, I actually had to buy shampoo. I got my first supply of K+S as a gift from my hair stylist wife. She has used it on her male clients with great feedback.Those two bottles supplied me for a year. It only takes a small dab to produce a rich, aromatic, invigorating lather. As I got to the end of the 2nd bottle I ordered some more. I'm 66 years old and in all my life I've never paid much attention to the shampoo I used. But this stuff is so good, refreshing, frugal and leaves my hair feeling healthier than it has ever been. It's an excellent product.

I had took my time to give a candid review about the product. Frankly , i should admit that i bought this product after seeing many positive reviews and its almost fair to give good reviews to this product. During my initial periods i faced some difficulty with this product giving sort of burning sensation to my face and ears , however i think i might have got used to it in the long run. So you are expected to feel some sort of sensation during the initial trials and it works good to remove the flakes and dust off your scalp.Now the hard part is the magic works only for max 3 days, after which you see those back in your scalp and there you go for the next round of usage.Its not going to permanently remove your flakes, and i have been using this for past 2 - 3 months and have not experienced a permanent move-out. Secondly it leaves your scalp very dry and hence ensure to use a conditioner or a moisturizing oil like the virgin coconut oil in tiny amount on your scalp and hair to maintain its health.

I have been using this shampoo the past couple of days and I have a few things to say:-I have trouble using any shampoo without getting some form of dandruff, with this (although it isn't anti-dandruff) it comes out rather easier and no troubles have formed so far.-The mint - or peppermint (as I like to say) is definitely refreshing. I leave in my scalp for 1-2 minutes after its in to feel the cool feeling, and afterwards my scalp is refreshed.-The container is quite a sight itself, it sets itself away from anything else.As a conclusion, wish they made a bigger bottle for the shampoo because I will most likely be reordering. These's not many times I look forward to take a shower just to use shampoo, but thats the quality of the product.Any questions, please ask and ill get back to ya.-Tomedit 8/22/14: The shampoo is just as good as the first time I used it. Thought it was worth mentioning that it had 3+ ounces when compared to a family members shampoo (believe it was Nuvea).An idea occurred to me as well, if a body wash were possible it would be a 1-2-3 punch with the shampoo, gel and body wash.

I have somewhat coarse and thick hair. I have been buying my regular commercial shampoo from brick and mortar stores because I didn't think shampoo made a difference. After decades of using different commercial shampoo, I realized my hair was always dry and felt brittle. I finally decided I needed to do something about my hair because the dry California weather was not helping my hair either. I read many reviews on other salon shampoos and I decided to give this a try based on positive reviews and the product description. I have used this for over one month and I'd have to admit that I should have bought this sooner. This has a minty smell to it and gives a slight tingle as it lathers up. I don't have to use a lot of product to get a good lather going. I use hair gel and/or wax/fiber and this shampoo washes it out with ease. I pair this shampoo with their conditioner (see refer to my review on that). My hair now feels hydrated, clean, and soft.

I have very fine straight hair and have to be careful about what shampoo I use. The one I had been using was not in stock, so I decided to give this a try. I wanted to hold off on giving a review until I had tried it for a week or two. First, I love the smell! I use about a dime sized amount and get a good lather. I feel like it takes all of the dirt and most of the oil out of my hair, but I doesn't leave it feeling parched. I have not been using conditioner so I could get a good feel for what this was doing to my hair. I suspect that I may use conditioner once a week, but I would rather have this than a shampoo that leaves my hair feeling greasy. This shampoo leave my hair feeling squeaky clean! My wife also loves the smell, like a good mint smell.Edit: After using this for a while, I am altering my review. I do feel like it is a little harsh for fine hair. My wife had to use it once and said the same thing. I don't think I'll buy it again since it seems to be drying out my hair.
