It works like it's supposed to
I dropped my phone HARD on the ground two days after putting the case on. My phone did not crack. Not to mention the glitter is pretty and watching it can be calming.

Just hard plastic. Cracked within 2weeks. Broke completely in half by week 3. It's all good as long as you never want to remove and reuse.
