These will do, but the picture is a little deceiving. They are not a very tall candle (of course I could've just checked the measurement that was available, but as a creature of human nature, I go by the picture a lot). These do not have the grooves carved into the base of the candle that makes them fit tightly into the holder - they are smooth all the way - and so they were very loose inside the holders I had and wouldn't stay straight.My solution to this was to hold the lighter flame to the bottom of the candle while holding the candle itself upright - thereby melting the bottom of it slightly. But before it started to drip, I jammed it into the holder and was then able to get them to stand firm and straight.However, the price is right for getting so many - not too bad.

I bought these for my wedding. We where told to get drip-less candles by our venue. So I did, so I thought.ALL OF THESE CANDLES BURNED TO THE BOTTOM IN 45min. THEY ALSO DRIPPED WAX EVERYWHERE!!!!They ruined custom table runners we spent $500 on, let alone that 1 hour into our 5hr reception almost all the candles where burnt out or flickering at 1inch to the bottom with wax all over the table.I have pictures of all this too. I read reviews after the fact mostly everyone had this experience. I should have been more careful but was in a rush 3 weeks before our day.Good luck!

The size was hard to find and the price was very good. Excellent delivery - they arrived well before I expected them. When I put them in a candelabra that placed the candles very close to one another, there was quite a bit of dripping from the candles in the center. The candles on the outside remained nearly dripless, so if you're using them singly or even in candelabra with a good amount of distance between candles, they should be fine.

These are attractive candles, reasonably priced. They burn clean, with little smoke. The only problem is that they are slightly too small for any of my existing candlesticks. I dripped some wax to keep them standing up straight in the holders, but this is something to keep in mind when you shop.

These candles are cylindrical, exactly 3/4" in diameter: check your candle holders! They burn with minimal dripping, for several hours if you trim the wick every hour or so - that may explain some buyers' variation in burn time. There is no odor.

We light candles every evening for dinner. Usually I find some candles on sale and buy lots of them. Never really gave the quality much thought....until I bought these candles online. These were more expensive than the 50% off ones at CVS, but they last so much longer and don't drip all over the table. I have ordered many many boxes since our first trial. I even bought some for friends who discovered how nice candlelight dinners are to have regularly as a good side-effect of Storm Sandy in NJ.

These candles are priced right and burn clean and long. Even the company that sold them did not know where to get the right sized holder to hold them tight and straight while they burn so nicely.

I bought these candles for the second time and am very disappointed in the product. The first box was fine, but the second box contained candles that drip excessively. Wouldn't buy again.
