GMAT Foundations of Math: 900+ Practice Problems in Book and Online

Très bien construit, ce livre permet de reprendre tous les fondamentaux petit à petit. Il est par ailleurs bien écrit, j'ose même dire agréable à lire ! Super pour s'y remettre !

高校以後は数学の勉強は中断しましたが、この本のおかげで、大部分の基礎を思い出しました。 これからの本当のGMATの数学部分も頑張りましょう。

This book is excellent. I'd imagine that this book is equally good for getting basics for GRE and SAT, and other standardized test with Math. A friend and I completed this book in 10 days, 1 chapter a day, while working full time. Approximate hours to finish 30 hours. Completed every check your skills questions, and practice problem. Pros: * thoroughness * large # of questions * excellent explanations * Kindle version has better formatting than Digital Editions download from MGMAT website * Ability to have two cloud Kindle viewers open and be able to check answers quickly * exercises work well in drilling important concepts * builds confidence (half the battle!) Cons: * occasional errors in Kindle version, the digital editions PDF from MGMAT website had these correct when I compared with a friend (Wrong Answers in Kindle Version: Check Your Skills Q11, Chap 8; Q48, Chap 8) * important information is nested in the answers to practice problems, thus, beware, do all your practice problems, or at least reads the explanations to them! Overall excellent excellent book, definitely read it. I considered just jumping into the Complete Strategy Guide Set, but am IMMENSELY glad I did this book first.

I want to preface the review by saying I was not a great math student. If you were great at high school math I don't think this book will have much to offer besides some tidbits about GMAT strategies. I personally felt I learned more from this book that I did in high school; I wasn't as bored and I liked the answer explanation section. For those complaining about the access code there is no physical code in the book itself. After you purchase your amazon email will receive a log in from Manhattan Prep. I didn't realize it was for this book. Manhattan Prep is also offering a free basics of math courses this summer. I signed up for it and assumed that was how they got my email. Looking through the account its actually for this book. I assume if you continue to buy their products that is how you receive all your access code (it was a common compliant for all their books).

I found it useful. It is kind of basic, but everything is pretty well explained and clear. It was helpful!
