This stand is outstanding, it's honestly worth twice the price for the quality and adjustability it has.The construction is very sturdy, with high quality plastic making up the majority of the stand. The articulation joints however are aluminum. It has soft foam pads on the base so you don't scratch up any surface you put it on and a sturdy rubber surface on the mount itself, which keeps your phone or tablet device from sliding around and also protects it from scratches.The adjustable arms have nearly infinite adjustability to whatever position you could want. It works great for both my cellphone and my tablet, also has a nice cut-out on the bottom to allow for a charge cable.Another thing I like is all adjustments are done without any tools or mechanical levers or switches. It's simply based on the tension of the joints, which is just right amount of tension for easy adjustment and holding ability. Even a heavy tablet won't budge after you position it.Overall, very impressed and highly recommended!

I thought this would be metal, for some weird reason. It's plastic, but well-made, and so adjustable. It feels very balanced with a tablet on it horizontally. My Galaxy S8+ standing on it vertically worries me a bit. It's perfect to use for a Zoom type call. As long as you don't hit the table it's standing on, I'm sure it would be fine. The width on the bottom is a bit smaller than the width of the phone. If it were a tiny bit wider, I think it would seem more secure. That said, I've jostled the table a bit with it securely in the middle, and it didn't fall off the stand. I'm getting a lot of use out of it. I also like how compactly it folds up. Cool design.

So I don't loose my phone under the stack of papers on my desk. Also good height for phone conversations.

This phone holder is very sturdy and nice addition to your desk. I have day long meetings. I use my phone and keep it on this stand. It holds the phone very firmly. Also useful if you are watching a video. It is foldable and portable as well.
