Steelhead season is coming. I got this for my husband and he absolutely loved it. The material is waterproof, durable yet not heavy. In his own words, this suit doesn’t make him feel clumsy. There are several pockets on the suit which are great for stuffing fishing gears. I looked at some other more expensive ones on amazon. This one is affordable. I picked it based on the good reviews. It didn’t disappoint me.My husband is 6 foot 1 and about 180 lbs. the suit fitted him perfectly. The only thing he noticed was that the shoulder stripes are a bit on the shorter side. If you are taller than 6foot 2, it may not fit. However, it wasn’t a problem for us at all.

Seems like a few fake reviews on these... how 'bout a real one?I bought these for a week-long trip to Alaska for salmon fishing on the lower Kenai River. My expectation was that I would throw them out at the end of the trip - instead I brought them home. They mostly met my expectations but are not a 5-star product.Cons:- The boots fit fine, sure, but the waders were otherwise too small. I'm 6'1, 270 lbs with a 55" beer gut, and have a 33-1/2 inseam. The bottoms went up to my crotch with a little slack, but the top and suspender straps are way too short. I had the buckles on the straps adjusted to the longest length without them constantly coming out (they did occasionally) and the straps really dug in to my shoulders. The straps should be at least six inches longer, but even better the upper part of the waders should be six inches taller. It was a bit of work to get them over my belly but I got to where I could do it over a hoodie and they were snug but not tight. If your inseam is longer than 34" and you're not going to get at least size 13, these won't fit.- I could stand in them, but crouching or sitting without keeping my legs straight was impossible. There's no stretch in the fabric.- The top of the pocket on mine is at my navel. Plus, no Velcro or snaps to keep it closed. I got river water inside, and constantly had things falling out. I lost a rented knife I had to replace and my $300 prescription sunglasses to the river.- The boots don't have a comfortable insole and are really hard. I bought the $15 Dr. Scholls which worked fine.- When standing in more than a foot of water the boot uppers would collapse and cause considerable pain to the tops of my feet, often to my toes.- No breathability. My legs and lower trunk got nice and sweaty.Pros:+ All the joints are sealed and taped. I didn't have a drop of water on me from the outside.+ Boots fit well.+ Construction and materials are good for the price in my subjective opinion.Neutral:~ They are unlined. I knew this before buying them. Even wearing jeans my legs got really cold. Plan appropriately.I wish someone had written a similar review before I bought these and had them arrive. I could have made the needed modifications before I left. With that said, I would not hesitate to buy these again or recommend them to a (very warm-blooded) friend.

At this price the waders got high quality,the boot size was just right, it’s very normal, my husband is 5’8’’,he wears us size 8 shoes,and these boots are perfect for him, the strep can be adjusted according to the height. He use the wader do fishing ,cleaning the swimming pool,washing cars and gardening. The constructor is solid and the camouflage pattern is good generic color. He already weared it cleaning the leaves in the pool, there is no leaking ,the boots are grippy and fits his feet well with thick cotton winter socks, it is much lighter and easy to clean.

I want to start off by saying I was going to return these, but decided not to. The reason I wanted to return them is due to the fit. I am 6 foot 235 pounds (more muscular than fat). I find that it’s fairly tight around the calf, as I have tree trunks for legs. If you measure your calf and it comes out to 18.5 inches, you may run into same issue. In addition to this, the shoulder straps are too short for anyone 6 foot. I’ve got the strap maxed out and it’s fairly tight in the butt when you bend down to pick things up. Instead you must bend your knees as if you’re squatting. Furthermore the straps will continuously fall off the buckle, there are no stitching to stop the buckle from slipping off. To fix this, I had to tie the loose end in a knot (which has worked fine since). To fix the fitment issue around the calf, I typically unbuckle both shoulder straps as I’m launching my float tube, and pull the waders down a few inches (as my legs are the only thing in the water). My first outing, I thought that there was a leak, but it turns out it was sweat building up. I used them in southern California in roughly 85 degree weather. While they are lightweight, depending on temperature, you may still sweat a little. To cool myself down I often push water up onto my legs which works quite well. My last complaint about these waders is the smell of them. They’ve got an industrial smell that is accentuated when you get them wet. When drying them out you will smell what I’m talking about— not sure if it’s the glue on the seams or what, but if you leave them in your car, you will smell a rubber stench mixed with some sort of adhesive.Now you may be wondering, why tf is this guy keeping these? Honestly for the price, I can’t complain. For $40, the alternative are heavy pvc waders that are not breatheable. While it’s annoying that I can’t wear them as designed, I find that wearing them without shoulder straps buckled does exactly what I need them to do (keep my legs dry on a float tube/belly boat). Doing this also allows me to wear my GoPro chest mount comfortably. If you’re my size and are looking to be walking around in these, I would suggest you get a different brand, if you’re like me and will be using them for a float tube, it may be the best low cost solution. I bought this waterproof wader for my dad. He has used this wader for fishing several times and it still works really well with no leakings so far. We were worried about the size but it turned out that it is true to size. So just go ahead to check the size chart to find your size and that will be fine. It is an item with great quality and a reasonable price, so I would really recommend it!
