This is my third one of these. They are amazing. Ive replaced multiple arb pumps for these now. Has one in my jeep for 10 years now and its still going.

I have had this installed for the last 2 weeks not and am very happy with the result. It took some figuring on where to mount the compressor and air tank as the instructions say to mount in a dry location. Its a truck and without installing it in the cab a dry location is not going to happen. As an aside those who have installed in their cabs must not have great hearing. Its a compressor and as a result make a decent amount of noise when running. I ended up installing it under the cab of the truck between the frame rails. Not perfectly dry but dry enough for a water resistant compressor to handle. I really like how quickly the compressor fills the tank and it does a decent job on the truck tires as well. My previous onboard compressor did not handle airing up my tires and eventually stopped working. I also tied this compressor into my pacbrake and love having that braking power back.

Great product!! If you want an air supply on your vehicle this will do the job. I have had mine installed for almost a year and used many times, functions great. In cab gage works, pump is fairly fast, and fittings seal very well. If I leave it at 100psi, 2 days later it’s maybe down to 85psi. I would suggest mounting the pump out of water contact zones though as it does get quite hot when ordering and could crack from cold water contact.

They actually give you everything you need. You might end up needing a few more brass fittings, I did but I went a different route. Rather than using this on a truck I installed this in my Jeep for airing up tires after the trail. Build quality of everything is great all around- I couldn't find anywhere that they skimped out. Get a good idea of where everything will go and make sure it will fit. Be sure that the air line won't get kinked because that's how you spring a leak. It might not be a bad idea to buy some extra hose, but they give you plenty. I used more than I needed and only went over by a few feet. They give you 6' of 3/8" hose for remote mounting the filter, but I mounted it next to my engine intake. I uses 1/4" tubing for this because the 6' of 3/8" wasn't long enough, so I think this is why it takes a bit longer to fill. The gage they give you is great, and they give it to you in a little sheet metal cutout with a switch. I mounted mine where it wouldn't be in the way- I'm sure if you're putting this in a truck you'll be able to keep the gage in the sheet metal mount they give you. They also give you an extra bulb. And 3 air filters. Wiring is also very easy, as long as the pressure switch gets its 12V power it'll turn itself on and off according to whatever pressure its' at. My only complaint is that they don't give you any way to mount the pressure switch. I used a giant cable tie, but I'll come up with something eventually. Definitely would recommend this product.

I've been using this compressor going on 7 years now, it has been reliable and still works like new with one exception. Despite the description saying it is IP 67 rated and can be mounted UNDER a vehicle, the pressure switch that comes with it IS NOT rated to get wet. There is in fact a warning on it about getting wet. Mine corroded internally and failed after a couple of years. If you are going to mount it under the vehicle, buy a water proof pressure switch, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Q3LXRI It should have been included in the first place, and is much smaller and more compact and most importantly, listed as water tight.
