Watch Out Twinkies, There's Something Better
I'm not from the East Coast or that area, I am a SoCal native. I was introduced to "Tastykakes" by a friend from New Hampshire during the "Hostess Void". I perfer these over any Hostess product, especially these the Butterscotch Krimplets, my total Fav... Too bad these are not available out in California, other than some Jersey Mike's locations. Their 3-Packs are "Overpriced" for what they are.

Tastykakes Butterscotch Krimpets
Great, I buy them for the kids in my class when we read a book called Maniac Magee. We can't find them in our area. The boy in the book is obsessed with Butterscotch Krimpets and the kids wanted to know why. So I ordered them and now whenever the author mentions Butterscotch Krimpets they all moan and ask if I can't order somemore. Unfortunately, they were too expensive to order again. The shipping was $5 dollars more than 4 boxes of the Krimpets. But they sure were good!

Butterscotch Krimpets and Maniac Magee
Tastykake's Butterscotch Krimpets are the favorite food of the title character in the fifth grade story of Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli. They are a light and delicious treat that we passed out to a fifth grade class in Speedway, IN. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the book and were thrilled to have their very own Butterscotch Krimpets to enjoy, too. There are two to a pack - 6 packs to a box - reasonably priced - light and delicious - no cream filling, only a light butterscotch frosting. The awaiting treat made this a good reason to finish the book!

Butterscotch Krimpet Addiction..
Always a favorite around my house..used to get these when we lived on the east coast, sadly, can not find them in Chicago area..thank goodness for Amazon! Arrived nice and fresh..I bought these for my fiance'..instead of a typical birthday cake..he loved it!

OMG! Comfort food
I grew up in a Philadelphia suburb in the '60s and there are two things that will always be "childhood" to me - Charley Chips and Tasteykakes, particularly Butterscotch Krimpets. There is nothing like them, they melt in your mouth, and on the rare occasions I find myself back on the east coast, the first thing I do is look for a Wawa or Cumberland Farms and search for Krimpets. Every one of the tasteykake cupcakes and treats are delicious, they make other brands (won't name them, don't want to get sued) taste like sawdust.
