CERNIT Transparant Clay 56g, Translucent White, 7 x 5.5 x 1.5 cm

Many of these reviews comment on how dry the clay is. It is harder than sculpey and it really takes time to condition it. Don’t assume that there is something wrong with the clay- just give it time. Hold it in your hand to warm it up and slowly start kneading it. Add liquid clay if you need to. It is SO WORTH IT. There are no other translucent clay options that I have used that come even close to Cernit.

Please read this before you purchase. If you are buying this for little Billy to make a school project DONT. Just don’t. This clay is stunning but be prepared because conditioning it is a nightmare. Do not buy this if you do not have a pasta roller. I have an electric pasta roller and this took me 2 1/2 hours to condition to make it usable. according to the package this is a new block of clay. And just to be clear this is a 2 ounce packet and I conditioned half of it that is with adding conditioning drops if you want to use this, it will be a labor of love because it’s beautiful, but just be prepared. 2 1/2 hours.

I am so disappointed. I bought 2 of these hoping to make clay earrings and both are very hard and crumbling. I used liquid clay to try bond it but that didn’t work, now I don’t know what to do to make it useable. I had heard great things about this brand of clay so I was excited to try. Very, very disappointed. Hard to work with, not sure what to do now. Waste of money.

The translucent was good. The clay was hard.

did not come in it's own package. looked like someone cut off a piece from a bigger block and wrapped in plastic wrap. highly sketch.... no idea what I got... from what I read about cernit transparent I expected a different texture in the clay so I have no way to know if it was cernit or something else. that being said, the clay was semi-transparent and did well in the items I made from it. I'm still not sure I'd repurchase being there's no way for me to know if I got what I ordered.

I used this clay for rudayaws tutorial and my spider very beautiful and glamorous!

This is a very tiny pack that can fit in the palm of your hand. I used as fake onions and sesame seeds on my fake bakes. Comes white but translucent after baking.
