very firm sturdy plastic, comes as 24 sets and size is as described, pretty colours too. Can't decide for myself if it's worth the money, but it is much more convenient to just buy things off amazon so I didn't bother looking for a local nursery first

I ended up using these pots for an illustrative teaching session and they were perdect for that. I may use them for the initial phase of growing seedlings in the future or I may continue to use them in my lesson plans.
