The robe itself is pretty. Nice, soft material. The purple is a bit more burgundy than purple, but its nice. I'm only 5'4" and wish it was a wee bit longer, as it doesn't quite reach the floor.I was told they would put in pockets for me, and that didn't happen. I was also extremely shocked to be told I was to pay $62.00 in duty/taxes to DHL couriers prior to receiving it in Van, BC, Canada. I've never ever had to pay tax or duty when I've ordered items coming from China. Thankfully the seller agreed to pay it for me (and did, so for that I am grateful). DHL told me normally a seller pays it at their end.I appreciated that the sellers were good to work with, and the robe is nice enough.

I was disappointed that the robe did not have pockets, didn’t have an inside tie to help keep the robe closed and the ties were excessively long to the point of dragging on the floor even after they were tied.I did however like the material.

I love the gold, it is similar to my first photo. The second pic shows how the robe hangs. See my continuing notes regarding this.The third pic is of the inside of the robe and it has been sewed inside out and the advantage of this is there are no seams to scratch ( I very sensitive to clothing). Another plus is there are NO LABLES to bother you inside of the robe.The 4th pic is just to show the subtleness of the fabric; color is off in this pic.The robe I have is a small and it really is large for me. I wish there was a smaller side but with my alterations it will be better fitting for me. I am 5'3" and weigh 125...usually wear an american 8-10.SO the downsides for me: There is not an interior riboon tie to keep the robe closed, thus it does not properly hang. I am going to remidy this by sewing in two ribbons to creat this closure.If you will notice the top V-neck opening is also slouching, I find this annoying so I am going to sew chinese frogs to make the connection of a more secure neck line. The other problems will then be resolved.I wouldn't go to all this trouble but because the robe is so soft and velvety I definitely want to keep it. I can hardly wait for evening to come so I can luxuriate in this robe.
