The ATN Rifles sights are cutting edge, but they use a lot of power and lithium batteries are expensive. This power pack by ATN solves the problem. just attach to your stock and plug it in, everything you need is supplied. Tons of power and easy to recharge. Its usb conection means you can use it to charge your phone as well. I needed some additional information when it arrrived so I called customer service, they were as friendly and helpful as ever.

For those of you who don't know what an ATN scope is, it is a completely digital scope. These scopes do almost everything but pull the trigger for you. Once set up to your rifle, you can zoom in/out, range find, adjust your zero (if needed), program specific ammo to utilize the ballistic calculator, night vision (not thermal) and even record your shots. All of these options are controlled from the buttons on top of the scope, your cell phone or even a tablet/laptop. Add a "micro-SD" card to store all your info on. Here is where the battery pack really comes in handy, if you start using the ballistic calculator or record all of your shots, the standard batteries won't last long. The battery pack will give you 'up to" 22 hours of life normal use, 8-10 if you are a heavy video recorder. ATN makes models to fit all kinds of shooting needs, check out their site for more info. Works great on my ATN scope, better than eating up AA lithium batteries. Before I had this I turned my scope on and off to save battery, but that's a pain to wait for boot up when you want to be looking through your scope. Fully charged the battery when it came in, next day had scope running for a solid 4 hours at one point and the battery indicator never dropped (I did not have all accessories in the scope on, just the minimum). Only complaint is the butt stock case/holder for battery is lacking in design and the cheap material it's made from, but I got it attached and it works. Happy with the purchase so far.

I have the x site 2 and 4k 3x14. Love the scopes. I do not need the battery pack for the 4k but it is great for the x sight 2 Great for predator hunting and hog hunting more open areas. Recently had a question about the firmware. I emailed ATN and got a response the next day with a how to link, and a follow up email the next day to make sure my questions were answered. The best thing is the total hours you can use your ATN sight with this accessory as all the reviews and the company’s own literature show that this item is truly a battery hog. I want to use WiFi and geo tagging so it was kind of a no-brainer to get this rather than be replacing batteries after ever hunt. The case is nice as well and the cord is just the right size. Case fit my Airforce Condor SS well and it has a unconventional stock.

I purchased this extended battery pack for my ATN X Sight 2. Wow. This unit enables a FULL DAY of power. It comes with a nice cheek pad that houses the batter and aids in the alignment of your head and scope by elevating your cheek weld to the perfect height. The material is high-quality and the Velcro that attaches the battery holder/check pad is strong and frustration free; this package will not come lose. I did have a question as mine needed a cap-cover (typically included) and called ATN. I spoke to Oliver Vallero (they answer calls and take care of you on the spot!) and Oliver listened to, and immediately addressed my concern. He sent me the part in the mail THE SAME WEEK. Well done ATN! This level of care, professionalism, and “old fashioned customer service” is rare today: especially with electronics. Thanks ATN for a great product and for employing people like Oliver. He’s fantastic.

It does not fit well on an A2 style AR buttstock. The battery does not fit well in the pouch and you have to cut a hole in it to get the USB cable to attach to the battery. It looks like they battery was changed at some point and the pouch was designed for a different one. The system works, but for the price I expected a lot more than what I got.

I like all the available features this scope has. There are also a variety of additional accessories available to expand the options this product has to offer. I do stress reading the information thoroughly prior to use asthe instructions are very detailed. The only concern I had is there is no information on how to obtain the free bonus remote included with it and I had to contact the company to receive instructions on how to obtain it. This should definitely be included. This is catchy advertisement when purchasing the item yet confusing when you buy it. This marketing should be to promote sales not discourage them. Most of the reviews I read were negative regarding this issue. I am posting this review to make buyers aware that they must contact ATN. This is a nice product do not let this discourage your purchase. I highly recommend this product and hopefully it will go smooth for others with this information. ATN is extremely prompt with response time for that Igave 5 stars.
