Sharp Nicholson quality!
Files that do what they're made to do! Chew through and/or smooth metal fairly quick without getting dulled! The 8" has a single cut on one side and cross cut on the other allowing it to be used for quick or smooth filing. I got the 8" for general shop filing which has a reasonably comfortable handle design built in.I got the 10" flat double cut bastard file for fast material removal, and the 12" Mill single cut bastard file for bigger smoothing jobs because it can cover more area. The 10 and 12" need handles as they have the typical tapered handle mounts. All do a great job, came in sealed packaging unused, flawless, and cut fast! I have no complaints.

Great file, cuts FAST!
Has really aggresive teeth and bites hard into wood and metal, both. I work with a lot of plexi, too,and if you're careful you can even shape that as well.

Finally a sharpened splitting axe
I had an old splitting axe that's been a bit beat up over the years. Finally picked up on of these and splitting wood on my last camping trip was a breeze.

Everything you expect from a Nicholson
I'm a Nicholson fan. I profile and sharpen axes for a hobby and these are good up to the upper Rockwell 50s. Above 55, expect a bit of skating. But most axes are between 45 and 55, so you're good to go.
