Yes, that's what I used it for specifically. It's nice since it has the built in gauge (which will work for any future cans of R134a regardless of brand). I thought the gauge on this thing was worth the price alone since it has a longer hose than most other gauges.

This product is not meant for hybrid vehicles or any other vehicles that use an electric compressor. The warning is written on the label. So if using this in such a vehicle, yes, you run that risk. The issue is related to the oils in the product, not the refrigerant itself.
