great product
I have thick medium length hair that I usually style up in a quiff/pomp style. This product provides strong all day hold without being "too strong" like a pure clay. My hair can be adjusted throughout the day with no problem. The product is super easy to apply with a creamy texture. It is also very easy to wash off your hands and hair; again unlike a pure clay. Scent is also very light, which I greatly appreciate. For some context, my favorite product is davines clay, which is currently sold out everywhere. I have been looking for a product that works similarly for years. This is the only thing that comes remotely close. I only have minor complaints. The packaging looks cheap, it also takes up more space that similar products. I can't really tell how much is in the container. It looks like it should hold twice as much product than it actually does. The hold is not as nice as the davines and the texture it provides doesn't look as nice either. I haven't used an entire jar yet so I will probably get better results over time. It's good enough for me to want to stick with this product long term to maximize the results for my hair. I also wish the price was lower. While a great product, I would rather pay the extra 2 dollars for the davines clay if it ever goes back in stock. This is a solid backup for me and I am VERY glad I gave this product a chance.

Great product
Great texture clay. It’s smells great, It’s a light clay but works in nicely. Good volume and texture that lasts through out the day. It’s a little pricey but a little goes a long way.

This stuff is THE BEST out there!
First, I was not paid for this review, and I did not get this product for free. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on clays, waxes, pomades, fibers, pastes, basically everything, trying to find the right product for my hair. I have A LOT of fine hair, so I write this only to comment on how it works with my hair. This stuff is seriously the best and my absolute favorite! I've tried everything and combined them all even to see if that gave me the result I was wanting. NOPE. If you're anything like me, before I spend money on anything I like to read reviews, and the reviews where people comment on what they've previously tried helped me the most. It let me know they were speaking from experience. Here's what I've tried: *Moroccanoil Texture Clay- 1st PLACE- Pliable, strong hold, matte finish. It seriously holds all day while still leaving my hair soft and re-workable, nice scent (some of these smell like chemically treated river water). *Layrite Cement Clay- 2nd best (the SMALLEST amount is PLENTY, SUPER strong hold- sometimes too stiff) *Hanz de Fuko- 3rd (best for medium-strong hold, or to freshen up my hair in the evening) The rest- still quality products, and I still use them to change my look from time to time, just didn't do everything that I was looking for with my hair. Baxter of California Clay Pomade, Kevin Murphy Rough Rider, Label M Matte Paste, American Crew Forming Cream, Brickell Men's Styling Clay Pomade, Suavacito, Blind Barber, BluMaan and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. In closing, I am ENDING my search...FINALLY. Moroccanoil Texture Clay is worth every penny and I will be subscribing!

Has very little to no scent. Easy to apply with very little tug. Very good hold.
I have been using the Templeton Oasis Clay product for a couple of years. Probably one of the best I've used! I wanted to try something else that had little to no scent. The Templeton products all have a stronger scent and even though I like the scent I've been using, many times I prefer to have products with no fragrance. I'd rather have my only scent be the cologne I've picked to wear. What I like most about this product compared to the Oasis, is the consistency is much creamier and easier to apply. Has a lot less tug when you apply it, you almost think it's not going to have as much hold because of how easy it goes on. However, surprisingly it has great hold and not sticky once it dries. I still think the Oasis has a much stronger hold but it also feels much thicker and harder to apply evenly with significant tug.

My favorite hair product
I currently have a pompadour with a low fade. This product is by far my favorite. I've tried many hair products to find one that checks all my boxes. I've tried Northern lights, Pacino's, America crew, blumann, Johnny b clash gum, and numerous others and I still find myself using this one. Its hold is the best imo compared to the rest. Yet, it still leaves your hair feeling almost natural and you can still manipulate your style during the day. Its smell is hard to describe but it smells really nice, and not overpowering. Washing it out is pretty easy...water alone can get most of it out. A little goes a long way, and blow drying your hair before using this adds crazy volume and texture...it also leaves your hair matte...this is my go-to hair product. Yes, it's expensive but it lasts quite a long time and you know you're getting a high quality product for your hair. 5 stars

Not worth the money
Honestly not what I expected from. This is not a " re- workable" hold. I used just the smallest amount and could not comb my fingers through my hair. It is very stiff am the smell didn't smell like Moroccanoil either more like stale cigs. Had to re wash my hair right away. Would not use or purchase again.
