Graphic Design, Referenced: A Visual Guide to the Language, Applications, and History of Graphic Design : Gomez-Palacio, Bryony, Vit, Armin: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: I wish I'd found this book sooner - A brilliant book that I only wish I'd found when I started my Graphics degree rather than after it. I bought this as an overview of the various graphic languages but it is full of brilliant information about all aspects and inspirational designers. I thoroughly recommend this book to all students and designers you won't failed to be impressed by the subjects covered. Review: All good - +A

A must for all designers
This is a really good reference and resource book. I teach graphics at college and have recommended that they use this as a text book. It's also a great book for the more experienced designer too as its packed full of interesting info and inspirational images.

Good Introduction for Design Students
As a new graphic design student (HND) I wanted a book that would provide me with reference material that I can use throughout the course, and although it appears to cover nothing in too much details it does give me a good starting point in the reasons why, and helps makes some areas of the theory more understandable.
