Bought this for my pool. The pool shop in my town was too expensive and this was a bit cheaper. Worked great and lasted the last few weeks of the summer season.

It's granulated chlorine. I throw it in the hot tub. It dissolves and smells like it's working. Go chlorine.

I ended up destroying the lid trying to open this. As I'm new to pool maintenance, this lid was difficult. The Chlorine works great, easily dissolves. Just be aware it contains CYA like most granular chlorines. After my CYA levels were normalized, I switched to liquid chlorine.

I've hit up all my local stores for chlorine for my spa. Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's...all of them (excluding specialty spa/pool stores that charge $$$ for chemicals). The selection was pathetic. Walmart didn't have powder, and Home Depot & Lowe's had huge buckets for more than I was willing to spend. This hit the sweet spot. Powder, reasonably priced, enough to last. And it does the job. Perfect!

This product dissolved well in the water with no filler in it, all chlorine. Our local pool store sells a different brand that leaves little pieces of who-knows-what that feel like styrofoam in my pool and hot tub. This is much better and the price wasn't too high.

You’re supposed to just pull up the red tab and twist counter clockwise to get the lid off. But I’ve had two of these and It’s nearly impossible to get this lid off. You have to yank as hard as you can up while you’re turning counterclockwise risking chlorine granules all over your house.. And if you don’t get it closed correctly, your chlorine granules will go bad.
