More then picture shows
The thin texting gloves are nice and the mit is very warm with a little rubber glove wipe on it! My boyfriend loves them

great looking and fitting gloves
just came back from vail - gloves kept me warm to about 15 degrees -- the problem was it was below zero for 5 days - used two hand warmers -- had to go in every 1.5 hours just to warm up my entire body - from florida - brutally cold for a black diamond skier

Disappointed hands were freezing
We have other Dakine gloves that keep our hands warm but for some reason this pair didn’t do the same. My son had to have multiple hot hands in his gloves to get through the day.

Use the leash!
I like the glove liners that come with the mittens. I left my brand new mittens on first ride up the gondola. When I reached the summit, I thought I was going to be very unhappy. Then I realized I had the liners in my jacket pocket. I rode down the hill a few times only using my liners snowboarding. The third ride up someone had left my mittens on a chair for me to find! I was so happy! Put my liners back in my pocket and used my new mittens the rest of the day!

Size guide isn't right for liner and mitt
This is a well made lower end mitten. It comes with a liner glove for added warmth. The mitt on its own is a shell with only a little insulation, suitable for warm spring ski days. The size guide is not right and you probably want to go up one size. I have a 23 cm hand which is right in the middle of Dakine's recommendation for size L. Trying just the mitt by itself or the liner by itself, they fit great. The problem is if you try to actually wear them together, it's impossibly tight. The mitt is not made big enough to fit the hand with liner.
