Using for coloring my baked goods!
I was pleasantly surprised this worked great in turning my cookies an awesome halloweeny purple color! They didn’t brown too much in the oven and kept that beautiful purple color. Can’t wait to use it in my sourdough loaves! Thanks.The package was smaller then I anticipated but that’s on me for not reading the OZs of the package size

Skeptic no more!
I was elated to find a pure, organic purple yam powder without any fillers or coloring, but wasn't sure how Ube would come out with this. I have to admit I was skeptical it would taste like the ube I love, but I successfully made an organic, additive free ube that tastes DELICIOUS! I have to admit I was a little surprised. I've made ube from the frozen purple yams and from the Ube mix at the Filipino stores, but this will be my go to from here on out! I was also thinking I would use the whole bag for a batch but I didn't at all so I think it's a good value as well.It seems those saying it had no flavor were expecting ube, but purple yams are just the main ingredient of ube, not ube itself. And it yam is a starch so yes its going to be gritty in certain recipes/drinks. Look up a recipe for Ube Hayala (Ube Jam) and enjoy all the possibilities!

Perfect Packing and color quality was good and value for money and true to size, easy to use and texture was finely powdered as describedI ordered it for making ube halaya and it tastes so good

Flavor not that rich
I got this to make taro ice cream and even when dumping copious amounts of the powder in I only faintly received the flavor I was hoping for.i know it’s not taro but it is purple. It’s okay I guess
