I ordered this jute rug for a home office space and could not be happier! I did just receive it a few days ago- it arrived quickly and very well packaged. Other reviews commented on an odor- My rug truly had no odor, even right out of the packaging. It rolled out nicely, I do have some weight on one end to help it lay flat. It is exactly what I was hoping for, beautiful and there are no flaws. The edging is pretty… and it actually feels soft on bare feet! I would absolutely buy agin and recommend!

This rug is amazing, as other have said there is a smell, but it did not linger. It is incredibly soft for jute. I absolutely love it and have zero complaints. If you are familiar with true jute then you know it has a certain smell, but it did fade away in less than a week. If you love jute I would highly recommend.

Very cute and somewhat soft but after only about a month it’s starting to tear in some spots. Otherwise it’s w cute addition to a playroom.

Picture doesn't do it justice. It has a braided construction. The color variation is beautiful. I spilled a 32oz cup of coke on it and threw some paper towels on it. Did some compression to soak it up. It was a two x two foot spot and you can't tell it even happened. Very happy with this purchase!!

I received this rug 3 days ago - I was so excited about it! It was packaged like a lot of other rugs I've bought, rolled up in heavy plastic. It's important to note that I met FedEx at thee door and brought it right in.I could not wait to unwrap, so I did. There were several bands of lighter plastic banded about the length.As I began to unroll the rug, I was hit by a smell of mustiness. Like the rug had been in a basement for months. When I finally unrolled the length, I saw the thick cardboard tube that so many rugs use. And it was so wet that it fell apart into several pieces, and the smell of mustiness pervaded my house.It's midwinter, so I can't take it outside to air out. So it's in the living room where it is supposed to be, but three (really two and a half) days later and it's still stinky in my living room.Some of the edge pieces have started to unfray. The living room is absolutely not a high traffic area, I might add. We might go in there for a total of 2 hours a week.I'm super disappointed I spent over $100 for a stinky rug that obviously won't hold up for very long.From other revewiers experiences, I'm not sure I want the hassle of returning the rug.aybe it should go into the basement since it already smells like one?My advice: find a different rug, find a different manufacturer. My guess is the hundreds of good reviews are either small rugs or older reviews. Because it looks like someone fell asleep on QA.

This rug has the appearance of a neutral rug like jute but the texture of walking on a thick sweater. I liked it so much in a smaller size in my kid’s room that I bought another one for our bedroom! I do recommend getting a rug pad for underneath, as this rug does not have a rubber backing and moves around a lot without one. With one, it stays in place perfectly and lies flat nicely. Would definitely recommend!

It is very beautiful and well made, soft and nice to walk on, I wish they had larger sizes.As matter of fact, I am watching the site if they have the larger ones available, (currently they don’t) to get another one.You shall not be disappointed, my neighbor saw it and immediately wanted one, she even asked me to buy it from me :)Update: I bought another one larger, but it is not like the small one, this large one smells, because it’s bigger, and probably stayed in the warehouse longer, it doesn’t really Matter… the smell will disappear in a few days.. I Hope.I shall give another update in a few days to see and let you all know, if the smell dissipates.Final Update: No more Smell. It took 4 days to be free from from packed in plastic bag smell.It’s all good now.The real final, final Update: I slept in the room for 6 days straight, the Smell was still there it’s been 6 months now since I bought it.I can’t sleep with that smell, I’m going put it out site on the patio, weather probably will ruin it.I won’t buy an another.

I was a little nervous after reading some of the bad reviews on this rug but the low price prompted me to take a chance on it. I bought the 6x9 size and it’s beautiful in my space. I haven’t noticed any shedding . The smell of the rug when it arrived was a faint kind of grassy natural smell which would be expected for a natural fiber rug and isn’t unpleasant to me. It is rustic with different colors of fibers, and some imperfections in the construction . It is very textured as it’s a thick and knobby weave.it stretches a bit so I was able to pull here and there to make a perfect rectangle shape. It payed flat right away. Gives my space the rustic bohemian modern look I was going for. The price of this rug was best price I found as well.
