It worked well, and even distributed the hair product I had more evenly on my kid’s hair, which allowed the product to penetrate better. But, even though it does not pull the hair or hurt, my toddler (boy) can not stand anything fussing with his hair, and you have to use it thoroughly to see a twist form! My toddler is a 4b/4a/3c type where you can see a curl but the head is spongey feeling!
