This is a compact machine. Not too difficult to assemble, but make sure you get the screw holes lined up properly for the handle etc. It is a lightweight machine, but the bonuses are the hose reel retracts and the power cable although stores externally has not got a hard mastic outer casing also folds up easily. Initial tests on decking and car: works very well on high and medium power modes. Another bonus is the 2 x lance interchangeable nozzles, better than having 2 lances as with my previous make.

I bought this pressure washer as I had looked up reviews and watched videos on this washers performance. I have 2 patios which had a big build up of deep algae and this pressure washer did exactly as I wanted it to do. It cleaned the patios to almost new with no damage to the pointing. The only down side I can say about this is that it does need a trigger lock as holding down the washer trigger for long periods can start to make your hand ache, but this is a small issue. Other than that I would highly recommend this as a great value washer.

After weeks of research and asking ChatGPT’s recommendation, I pulled the trigger on this specific model, perfect for our needs (car, patio and driveway) easy to setup with instructions (images) seems heavy duty but lightweight enough to move around the car. Hopefully will last me plenty of years. Only downside is the detergent bottle is not good with foaming for car wash use but was already planning to buy separate aftermarket snowfoam bottle. It is not too loud as well to wake up a sleeping baby.

We bought this to replace a (on paper) more powerful Vax pressure washer. Immediately we could see that the Nilfisk cleans patio slabs easier than the Vax did. You get three power levels and two attachments, a basic spray one and a rotating one which is better on dirt. Combing the power level and the nozel gives you good control for each usage. Our model has a winding hose which makes storage simple. I gave it four stars however as the power cord could be better stored and the rear hose connector on my model is very stiff, almost too much so that it is a struggle to connect/disconnect.

I had a previous model Nilfisk power washer from 2011 which I left with the new owners when I sold my house. When I moved to my new place I had a composite wood patio installed and it started to develop verdigris, so I investigated getting another model and plumped on this one. Nilkfisk is a respected brand used by professionals and, I think, superior to the competition. I thought the Core 140 would be powerful enough for all the jobs I had in store, so went for that model. It’s more compact and has better cable and hosepipe management than my precious model. There was a bit of assembly to do but nothing too onerous and the only tool needed was a Philips crosshead screwdriver. Once assembled I put it ti the test and quicker than you can say “Get that verdigris off the patio” the job was done using the rough nozzle (also a fine one for more delicate cleaning) on power setting 3 (the off/three setting selector very useful to have). I did expect, as a ‘returning customer’ a quality product performing to an excellent standard bit even then was impressed by improvements over the precious model. Enthusiastically recommend.
