I thought this would give me in depth details of where signs and symbols originated from but it just described what symbols are believed to represent now, so I was quite dissapointed. Not good if you want to really know the truth about where symbols originate from and their many meanings.

Disappointed to find out that this book was a smaller reprint of Illustrated encyclopedia of signs and symbols which I ordered at the same time thinking it was a completely different book
