Only dislike is the pills are large. If you IMMEDIATELY use ADEQUATE fluid to swallow these pills - it goes well swallowing them. If you put them in your mouth and then go looking for your fluid of choice ... it does NOT go well!! (those are the times I ended up having to chewing them to swallow them). They are very dry & taste like chalk with the same texture. The pills' outer smooth coating dissolves VERY readily, so if you don't have your beverage immediately ready... the pill's outer coating melts off and feels like it turned into a sandpaper coating. I've used this product for over three years now (twice/day) and it's no big deal to take these pills now ... lessons learned. Very pleased with the benefits this product has contributed to improving my health, my Doc orders lab work 2x/year to monitor my levels, and there have been no issues/levels always in the norm values now.

These are simply wonderful no stomach upset. Been using for years.

I did extensive research before buying a calcium supplement. This one has D3 and micronutrients. In addition, it contains no magnesium, which is a plus. You need to take magnesium long after you take calcium because they compete with one another. And now they are saying your magnesium intake should be double your calcium intake. What I do is take a multivitamin and my calcium in the morning. Then I take my magnesium at night. I only take the full calcium dosage (two pills twice a day) if I haven't had my almond milk. I drink so much almond milk, I don't need to take more than two calcium pills per day. The pills are very big, but they are scored in the middle and easy to cut in half. Good price, and my bottle lasts me twice as long. Another tip: You really should count your other sources of calcium per day. Too much is bad for you. For most people who have calcium in their diets, two of these pills are enough.

I chose the wrong Citrical. This bottle has more vitamins and minerals than the one that I usually take and the pills are huge and hard to swallow. It also says to take 2 pills twice a day whereas the Citrical that I am used to taking calls for only 2 pills per day. They're not quite as big but still pretty big pills to swallow. It took a week or so, but I now am able to swallow both at the same time.

I've been told to take calcium with vitamin D by many people - BUT only recently have I been told that not all calcium products are the same, or that some may be dangerous. Calcium supplements that are Calcium Carbonate can, under some circumstances, cause kidney stones, whereas Calcium Citrate does not pose that risk. This product also contains Calcium and Vitamin D in the exact proportions that my doctor ordered to maximize absorption without having excess Calcium floating around my digestive system. I've had zero side effects since using this product.

My doctor recommended it so I'm anxious to try it as my bone density test was not good. My doctor told me it is the best vitamin for healthier bones. I have just started taking it 3 days ago. Judy Owens
