Pernali Heavy Duty Lever Wine Corkscrew Extractor with Foil Cutter, Pourer, Stopper and Extra Spiral

Got this as a gift for my brother for Christmas 2016. When it arrived I was concerned that it looked cheap. The shiny silver part especially. But since this was the link he provided I decided to give it anyway. What a mistake. When I was at his house less than 10 months later he made a joke about the corkscrew and said I could open the bottle of wine for dinner. It did pull the cork out of the bottle but would not pull the cork back out of the device. I tried and tried and eventually had to give it to him to manually take the cork out. He said it's been working like that for quite a while. And the foil cutter is a joke too. I was so embarrassed. Now I am ordering him a replacement like the one I've been using for 12+ years without any issues - Rabbit Vertical Corkscrew by Metrokane.

This is so awesome. I saw it on a move the other day. I was forever pinching my fingers with the traditional cork screw. This removes the cork with a tiny hole in the cork, but does not extend through the whole cork. These corks do NOT leak, once put back in the bottle. If you are a wine lover, this is a must have!!!

Love this wine opener! Pops a cork fast and really easy! My wife usually has trouble with manual wine openers, but she can use this one very easily and loves it! Very elegant looking and well made! Compact and easily fits in a drawer. Great buy!!!

The first thing I noticed was the fancy box with the magnetic clasp! Very nice set, works perfectly, and even got comments from my guests last night!

Lever snapped off, pulling a cork

Best wine opener I ever used.

Don't waste your money. I bought this because my electric opener finally died. Used this twice and the handle broke. It is made of cheap plastic and it snapped off.

It was five stars until yesterday. Have not even had for five months and it broke last night while opening a bottle of wine. Buyer beware warranty up one month after purchase. Ridiculous! False advertisement....it is not a premium Heavy Duty Lever.
