This was basically already assembled considering you just click together a couple things that are obvious. The accessories and little plastic food items are adorable. My son wanted this because my daughter has a play kitchen. It exceeded our expectations. He loves it. Also, the stand up variety isn't as tiny and cheap as I thought. It's tall enough for my 7 year old to comfortably interact with.
