Product works great for connecting my gooseneck trailer to the ball in the bed of my truck. Magnetic amount is very strong, excellent design. Location of antenna is awkward because it does not allow the camera to be completely horizontal. It would have been a better design to place the antenna so that it did not limit this. I have found however that I do not need to use the antenna in the bed of my truck because it is not very far from me in the truck cab. If I were to use this on the back of a trailer, which I have not tried yet, I would likely have to use the antenna but I don't think the limitations that the antenna put on it in terms of camera rotation would be a problem. I would recommend this product. Excellent price.

I ordered this camera as a birthday gift for my husband prior to our first trip out with our new camper. I liked the fact that this camera is magnetic rather than having to wire it in like some other fancier back up cameras because I knew the camera was arriving the same day we were leaving to camp and my husband wasn’t going to mess with hooking up something fancier. I also knew after 20 years of marriage that his plan of me me guiding him into our site without a camera meant we would start our camping trip out with a huge fight, haha. I figured we would just stick it on the back at our destination prior to backing in and remove it while on the road so we didn’t have to worry about losing it on the highway. We were both surprised at just how well this little camera actually worked! We did however forget to remove it at our campsite (I forgot to add it to our checklist) so we ended up driving home 150 miles with it stuck to the back of our camper. It didn’t move an inch and when we got home it was right where we stuck it when we put it on at the campground! We did add “put camera away” to the checklist but more so that it doesn’t get stolen while in storage. The only thing I would recommend adding when buying this camera is one of those clip on phone holders for the cab of your truck so you don’t have to hold your phone to see the camera image while you’re backing up. Otherwise the camera itself works great, & arguments about backing up guidance are avoided.

Had this for a year, used last Feb a couple times and used this month twice before it wouldn't take a charge. Loved the product but if it's only going to last you a handful of uses your better of buying a different brand. No customer service to reach out to that I can find either.

Need to know!If during setup you deny access to your location, it will not show video.I cannot imagine why this system needs to know my location in order to function. Setup otherwise was fairly simple and easy.I find the angle of tilt to be limited, and wish it had a bit more.The first photo shows the camera on the tailgate and the full angle of tilt in that position. It will not go to a more horizontal position.The second photo shows the view from the tailgate location.The third photo shows camera on the step of the bumper.The fourth photo shows the view from that location.On the step of the bumper, I could see further aft, but it was not easy to tell when the ball was directly under the receptacle.On the tailgate I felt I had a better sense of vertical alignment, but the view aft was limited in range, so I was looking out the back window until there was less than 10 ft between the ball and the tongue, before I could see the tongue.I would suggest that if you cannot see the trailer out your back window, start with the camera on the step of the bumper, then move it to the tailgate.On my 2001 Toyota Tundra, the bumper has a plastic cap, so the magnet doesn't hold very well there, but on the tailgate it holds really strong. I wouldn't worry about it falling off the tailgate on the expressway, but I wouldn't leave it on the step of the bumper even in my yard.Range without the antenna is just past the front bumper of my truck, with the antenna is about 40ft.All in all, I think it is a worthwhile expense if you pull a trailer regularly.EDIT: Due to the very wide angle of the lense, it is very difficult to estimate the distance of objects or obstructions that are more than 10 feet away from the camera.

The camera is simply great. The magnet is strong, I already drove over irregular roads and there is no way the camera will fall down. But it's easily removable using the hands. The image quality and the surrounding range is impressive. The Android app is simple but it works, it's fast to find the camera's wifi signal, and once connected, the refresh rate feels very fluid. I don't need any additional screens: the same smartphone can be used as a GPS and backup camera screen. The battery seems also very durable: I've been using the the camera for longer than 4 hours and still no sign of battery needing to be recharged. Only caveat for some is the size: it almost fits in my hand (plus the antenna), which some can consider too large to be placed on the back of the car. But it's not an issue for me: I drive a sedan and the camera size is good enough for me. The product arrived fast (even shipped to another country) and well packaged. Instructions accompanying the product were very clear. I'm super happy with this camera!

Husband uses this to help guide him In backing up to a ball and gooseneck hitch that we recently put on our fifth wheel Rv. He’s really liking its guidance as he can place it in the bed of the truck anywhere he wants it to give him the best view. The magnet in it is good and strong to keep it in place. Once hooked up he easily removes it to store back in the truck. Very convenient, highly recommend.
