Outstanding product
I used it on my new terrazzo counter tops. Easy to use and quick drying. After two coats the water beads up and there is no penetration. Tea and coffee stains wipe off easily. I will give a refresher coat every 12 months. No discoloration or change of look. Highly recommended

Great product! Must have for ALL marble surfaces.
I was worried by some of the reviews that say it darkens the marble, it leaves hazes, etc. However, none of that happened for me. I currently use this on polished Carrera Marble. I became so confident in the use of this product that I literally started just dumping the product all over our new marble counters. I realized the more of this stuff that gets absorbed into the stone, the more durable it becomes.I've noticed that the stone darkens around chipped stone which means it is absorbing more due the pores in the crack. The darkened area goes away in a couple of hours. I assume that the impregnator just diffuses itself in the rest of the slab. All in all, if you don't let this sealer dry on the counter, you're good to go. I'm going to buy the large sized of this soon.To be honest -- when the stone darkens, that's what you want. That means it's working. It's like paper getting wet. For some reason the color doesn't change much for my polished stone but if it did, I'd want it. You know its working because of the color change. I'd rather the color change slightly than have my stone be permanently damaged by wine or something.

This stuff works!
Works as intended. I've used this 2x on my honed cararra marble countertops. Right when moving in, and 1 month after. Builder recommended this schedule + 1x year after. Also used on carrara tile on shower floor.. was tougher to apply due to the grout. I probably could have gotten away with spraying a more liberal amount and letting it sit, but chose to spray and wipe on with a cotton cloth.Be prepared to open windows and turn on fans, the smell is STRONG. It's not an awful chemical-ish smell though. After applying I saw a noticeable difference; countertop had more luster, water instantly beads up on the surface.

I Smell A 4-Star Product
Product effectiveness is a 5* so far (I have used the shower 3 times). However, I am taking away one star due to the REAL need to ventilate the area you are working in. A mask is advised.

Superior to alternatives. Easy to use.
Very happy with this product vs some of the competitors. I tried two other highly reviewed products on our honed marble counters and this (both in suggested application and results) had superior results. I applied an initial application, kept it wet as suggested for 20 minutes, wiped off. Waiting one hour and applied again for 20 minutes, wiped off. This allows certain impregnating and the results have been very positive. No more water stains on our honed surface like I was seeing before. For what it's worth the smell is unique, but does not bother me.

Great Product
Great quality sealer. I'm a kitchen and bathroom contractor and we do a lot of stone work that needs to be sealed. I've replaced the 511 material I always used in the past with this. It applies better and I feel provides a better seal. Seems to bead water quicker and more effectively. I'm very happy with it. One bottle will go a long way so cost per use is fairly low.

The best
If you do the research on granite sealant chemical composition you will find that the ones in this product are considered by most (but not all) authorities to be the currently available state of the art and "best" for this purpose. You can look at the various products' material safety data sheets (MSDS) to determine what type of sealant chemicals are in each. There are only a few categories of chemicals used.Dupont also makes a water based product if you prefer. But, it appears that this is the professional version and the water based is the consumer version. It does require some elbow grease in application and particularly in wiping it off as it does not wipe off effortlessly. However, it's not extremely difficult if you pace yourself. Or, apply a whole bunch at once and get a workout rubbing it out before it dries.I got a workout, the granite looks great and it does not absorb anything.
