Great pan, well made, not heavy!
I was looking for a stainless steel sauté pan to replace my non-stick one. After much research I came across this one from Avacraft. It was one of the few with a glass lid which I prefer, but was hesitant at first buying a pan from a company I never heard of before. I decided to give it a chance anyway since the reviews were good. I had a problem with the first pan and had to send it back (dent in the rim on the lid), but received another pan a couple of days later. The pan is well made, not heavy, a nice size, and can hold plenty of food when cooking. Stainless steel is a much healthier version than non-stick, but not as easy to clean. You just need to be diligent and follow the instructions Avacraft sends with the pan on how to use it correctly and you shouldn’t have a problem. I am so happy I decided to give this pan a try. It’s my go to pan almost all the time now. FYI, for stuck on food I recommend Bar Keepers Friend and it will keep your stainless like new.

Better than higher priced brands I own.
I won’t kid you, most of my cookware is a well-known, higher-priced brand, but they were out of stock on this size so I tried Avacraft. I’m retired and enjoy cooking, so I use my cookware more than most folks, and I definitely put this to the test. I am very pleased with the quality and performance as it equals or exceeds the higher priced brands I own. Distributes heat evenly and is easy to clean. I intend to buy more in the future.

Excellent experience,Avacraft quality craftsmanship very impressive.
I love this pan too, it all started with a sauce pan I ordered, the quality is outstanding, I'm a retired chef, I've used many pans in my lifetime these compare with the best. I highly recommend Avacraft pots and pans, very fair prices, I just bought the 10 piece pan set for daughter's birthday, I'm very impressed, and customer service is excellent.

Great pan for the,price!
This pan is much better than I had expected!I used to have a pan exactly the same size that I used on my electric range.I think I paid around $75 for it 15 years ago.I had to switch to an induction range because of no feelings in my hands causing me to easily burn myself. Induction is so nice, Because the cooktop stays cool except for immediately under the pan. When I switched to induction, I had to get rid of almost all of my old pots and pans.I bought a few replacement induction pans, but the sauté pan was smaller, so I couldn’t cook the same volume as before. This new one is A wonderful find. It allows me to cook the same as before on the induction cooktop. Also, I like knowing the fact that the company that sells them is woman owned and minority owned.

A good value
I wanted to use this pan a few times before reviewing; if you are like me, and have previously used only nonstick skillets, there will be a little bit of a learning curve…..I suggest following the instructions and always preheat/cook on low to medium. Also, don’t add any oil or butter until the pan is preheated. Sometimes cook time is a little longer, and sometimes a little extra oil is needed. I haven’t been using this pan very long so I don’t know how durable it will be, but the price was right and so far I’m happy with the results. For reference, I cook on an electric (glass top) stove.

Looks good!
Just got this in yesterday so this review is based on first impressions. The design of the skillet is just what I was looking for with straight up sides. So many skillets have sloped sides which I do not care for as food slops out easily. The size of this skillet matches good with the skillet it replaces (different brand). That one developed a crack in it's side after a few years. Hope that does not happen to this one. It does supposedly have a lifetime Warranty but I doubt I will register the thing.I am dinging this new skillet for one star based on the somewhat sloppy fit of the lid. Poor design there. The one test I made of it on my induction cooktop it seemed to work good.
