It was a little more money then other tools but this tool actually works. I used it for all keys lost on a Porsche cayenne. Porsche is by far one of the hardest to program a key for. This is the first time I've ever used a key programming tool. Definitely do lots of research before attempting to program any type of key. You can completely brick all the computers in your vehicle. Meaning you will not be able to ever program a key for it without buying all new computers. But this is a great tool it actually works.

Bought this to expand the capabilities of the IM508 and specifically to practice with it using on a Ml350.There are good training videos on YT on various vehicles.If you are a car enthusiast and repair friends and family cars, then this will greatly assist in being able to do more. Also save trips to the dealer and paying big bucks to program car keys.

I already have an Autel IM508 and was thankful to know that I could add the XP400PRO to my tool set and not have to buy up to the IM608. The XP400PRO was crucial to a BMW DME replacement I did recently and I look forward to the doors it will open for me on other jobs in the future.

I would strongly recommend you don't purchase and mess with the Autel equipment like I did. Managed to brick my car with their equipment-- that is render useless a perfectly good BMW with this key and the Autel IM508 and XP400. This is dangerous and should not be sold on the market. Amazon should seriously pull this product off their site. You can cause very expensive damage to your car like I did. Be forewarned.

Great quality tool and comes in the hard case. Was very easy to follow the directions and performed great from the first try. Highly recommend!

As a DIY’er I needed to program smart key fobs for newer cars like Mercedes and bmw and other vehicle brands that use the CAS3 and CAS4 & this worked well with my IM508, thank you AUTEL for making the process easier!

A really great product! I've used to program the EIS and ESL for Mercedes Benz (W204), program a few Mercedes keys and also program BMW keys. I also used the G-BOX and Autel IM508 (purchased separately)
