Perfect for stuffed animals
The size was a lot more than I expected, the quality of the stuffing was amazing! Very full and a little goes a LONG WAY. Super versatile, you can use this with any project that you need stuffing for! The stuffing is very soft and perfect for kids toys. I love this, definitely will be buying this again when I do run out. Highly recommend! Great value for your money!

Works great
I do a lot of knitting and crocheting and i wanted to make a few plush things and this was perfect! Cheap and works great. For a more squishy plush just throw in less polyfil and for a more dense plush just use a lot. Got no complaints.

A whole lot of stuffing!
It took me forever to use one bag. This bag is my second in several years and that one had lots and lots of uses! There is a lot more than it looks like. A pound of stuffing is a LOT! In fact i gave the rest of the first one to my daughter for a couple of projects she had. I haven't opened this one yet but antisipate many lovely projects ahead. For those of you that might want to try felting, I have used this as my core on a dozen projects and while it takes a little more sticking to get it down solid, it is so much less expensive than core wool, and it can felt solid enough to use it as a re-usable form, that you can felt over. For doll hats, small bowls, candle holders, soap bags etc. I even modified a full sized hat form with it and it works like a dream!

GREAT FOR CRAFTS!
PERFECT. I use this brand often and I have never had any problems. I use it for multiple craft and quilt projects. The stuffing was very soft to the touch and the quality was great. The weight and thinkness was exactly what I was needing.

Great for dolls, ornaments. Prefer not to use for pillows.
I use this filling all the time for dolls and other plushies, ornaments, and all sorts of items that need filling. I keep a lint roller handy when I'm working with it. There's really no way to avoid the "shedding" - best way to describe stray fibers that get all over you and your workspace. Love that this is washable and made from recycled material. It splits apart easily so you can stuff a little at a time for even stuffing to help avoid lumps. Each bag comes with a wooden stick to help you fill your items and disperse filling evenly, especially in corners - if you lose it, just use a chopstick. I do not prefer to use this stuffing for pillows. I just don't think that it fills pillows comfortably enough. It's kind of odd that it has a lot of bounce-back resiliency yet it still flattens fairly quickly, after just a few weeks or months depending on use. If you stuff extra to try and avoid that, the pillows will be uncomfortably firm. Regardless, I prefer to use an organic & hypo-allergenic filling (preferably latex) for pillows whenever possible. If I'm doing them on a budget, however, I will either find some pillows on deep clearance and cannibalize them for their commercial-grade stuffing (then donate or upcycle the shell fabric) or I'll get an actual pillow form with a 50% off coupon/sale. I will use this poly-fil to supplement throw pillows that are old and have lost their shape / flattened and can't be fully revived by a fluffing in the dryer. I'll just stick a little bit in to help revive them if I don't have another preferred pillow stuffing handy. This polyfil does beard (i.e.: "poke-through") many fabrics. If you use it for a child's doll made with cotton fabric, I would recommend a double layer of fabric. If you use it for a pillow, I would recommend creating a pillow form that you first stuff before sticking the form into your outer layer shell or covering. Fusible interfacing will also help to resolve the bearding issue. This poly-fil is usually about $3.50 as an add on item here at Amazon which is a decent price - it's about the same as buying it 50% off at the craft stores which is the only way I'll buy it.

Perks up those wilted, clumpy stuffies right away!
Do you, or someone in your family have stuffies that are hard, or feel floppy when they used to be firm and now look all droopy, or just plain don't snuggle the way they used to? Fairfield Original Poly-Fil to the rescue! It is easiest to revitalize a B-A-B because they have those backs where they are filled initially, so this is great for those. Other stuffies might need trickier surgery, if you can find seams and can sew them back up together, but if you know how, this stuff will rejuvenate your stuffies and make them like new on the inside again! Go ahead and put a couple bags in your cart, because you know that you've got multiple stuffies that need attention, don't you? Don't you?

Goes a long way
I got this to fix the foot rest and cushions on my sofa. Oh my goodness is there a lot of it! I priced other stuffing and this was the best price so I thought I’d give it a shot. The reviews were excellent so I said what the heck. I have so so much left over and it filled 2 foot rests and partially filled two cushions. Definitely a bargain! And now everything is nice and fluffy again.

I mostly use this to create one of those cloud ceiling affects and it worked wonders, I had to use spray glue for them to stick on instead of just liquid glue but overall the product was amazing and I’m so glad that I came earlier but be warned if you want to decorate your ceiling with the stuff, ordered a lot of it because you think the bag contains a lot of it but once you take one handful you realize how quickly you’re going to use up the entire bag (depending how big your ceiling is)

Muy buena consitencia del material y viene bastante cantidad. Relleno perfecto para peluches y amigurumis, incluso puede servir para rellenar cojines desgastados y darles un segundo aire.

Ok, so first off, this is exactly the type of Poly-fil I wanted. I've been knitting some little beasties and needed stuffing for them. I haven't stuffed any yet, but I've used this type (different brand) and it's perfect for little knit beasties. HOWEVER! I am Canadian! I was born after the switch to metric! And sweet blessed Mary, mother of God, was I ever convinced there were 32 ounces in a pound! I ordered this at 2:00 AM after several beers and did not bother to confirm my conviction by checking the conversion! Fast forward a week, my building (I live in a dorm) informs me I have a package. I remember that I ordered some masking tape, but I go to the mailroom and appear to have the lost Arc of the Covenant waiting for me. The box they shipped this crap in literally fills the entirety of the bottom section of my closet. Lo and behold, I get it to my dorm and open it, and my puzzlement over the parcel (I'd assumed that someone had accidentally delivered a minor household appliance to me) is explained as I pull out enough stuffing to refill every pillow I own! So, to sum up, buy this brand if you want to knit models of assorted amphibians and bring them to life with some excellent Poly-fil stuffing, but please, for the love of all things Holy on this, God's good green Earth, remember that there are 16 ounces in a pound, NOT 32, and do NOT order this while drunk at 2:00 AM!
