This may sound stupid, but how do I fill this out properly? There are no instructions and I haven't received one of these in a long time.

Each line is labelled and pretty self explanitory. Date (date money received) From (who gave you money) Then there is a box for the $0.00 amount. The next line (that says "dollars" after it) lets you write out the amount in words (like on a check) just so there is no confusion about the amount. The next line is what reason the money is paid for (you can check the "for rent" box or fill out a different reason on the line) The box in the bottom left is if the person owes you a certain amount and makes a partial payment (example: they owe $100 but pay $75, you write 100 on the first line , 75 on the second , and then 25 on the last line for what is still due) beside the box you can check what form of payment they used (check, cash, money order etc). bottom right From (who money is from . To (who it goes to ) . By (signature of person receiving money)hope this helped

What receipt number does this book starton? I need ut to start at a higher number...just can't be below 1000.
