ARB 813408 Awning Bracket Quick Release Kit 4, Compatible for All ARB Awning Models

I used these to mount a Tepui awning to my ARB Flat Rack and they worked great. These mounts are THICK so the awning is pretty damn sturdy. I do wish they came with a nut with a bit more security than a standard hex nut though. I added a washer to each stud that drops in the slots after mounting the awning -- adds a bit more work when adding/removing the awning but keeps the powdercoat from being ripped off by the nut when tightening it. I also ended up fabricating some spacers to add to the other side of the roof rack to level things back out after having added these massive brackets to one side (not required, but I preferred it).

This is a typical ARB high quality product. I am using mine with ARB 813402 Awning Brackets. The bolts line up perfectly. It comes with only 2 long bolts per bracket and I wanted 3 per bracket to use all the holes on my 813402's. So I ended up having to buy six SS shorter bolts, washers and lock-nuts. Yes, this kit is expensive, but it should pay for itself over time by not having to continually wield the awning over my van and avoiding scratches and a strained shoulder.
