Very simple device that allows me to apply Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color to plastic models. No complaints, does what it should.

This review is revised based on a replacement (received within 24 hours). This is really a fountain pen of old. It works fine and it is easy to use. Like with the old pens, need to be very gentle with it, but that's because it needs to be very fine. Definitely worth the money.

Love this pen ! It has a very sharp point which delivers a steady flow of the liquid onto the surface. I use it for Tamiya Panel Line detailing, and it gets right in there to the smallest recesses. The pen holds the liquid up in the flute (?) until you get where you're going and then delivers all of it to the line, so just be careful not to put too much in the pen when you dip it into the inkwell. Old skool tech at its finest!

Works really well for accentuating panel lines with washes. Also works to lightly rescribing panel lines. Simple and effective at a very reasonable cost. Would recommend it.

It’s all right get the job done

Super easy to use and keep clean. Actually prefer this over the brush that comes with panel lining ink. The stiff metal tip gives it a very precise application. No scribing was done on any of this model and all panel lining was done with this pen applicator.

Really cool device. When it works it speeds up pinwashing exponentially, but you have to make sure your washes are the right type because it's a pain to try and get them flowing off this. But still really neat.

Overpriced dollar store trash. Just buy a fountain pen for panel etching. You’ll end up having it get one anyways so save yourself the 10 bucks on this piece of junk and use it towards a quality product.
