Easier to attach
When our washer's hot water inlet valve stopped working, we decided to replace the hoses at the same time. The old ones were rubber hoses with galvanized steel ends. They were being held together by rust alone and sprayed water from the metal after being removed, even though they didn't leak previously.These are stainless steel from end to end, except the internal sealing face of the straight end, which is brass. Rust should not be a problem any more. The right angle on the washer side made it much easier to attach to washing machine and strain relieved the hose.Be sure to install the included 4 rubber washers or it will leak. These hoses look good and function well. Because the threaded ring is completely independent from the sealing face, it is much easier to thread than the old style.

These are good, but you should always change washing machine hoses out about every 5 years to be on the safe side.

Highly recommend
These are really nice-looking hoses. The have plenty of length, are color-coded and most importantly, are leak free. They come with thick gaskets that feel secure. I like the right angle on one end. Feels like it's more natural when attaching to the appliance.
