I've used this type lipstick for many years. No, the lipstick is not sticky and not completely matte. This type lipstick, at least on me, stains my lips somewhat making it long lasting. I mix the lipsticks, blotting after each application, making it last even longer. My lips look amazing, feel soft, and do not dry out as with other lipstick. I use every day.
