Chevrolet Idler pulley
The idler pulley is made of steel , it seems to be made OK. It fit as a belt idler under the AC comp.. The Amazon web site has the wrong size listed as 4X4X1.2 in. Its size is 3"diam. about 1.2" wd. and ID. of bearing is 17mm or .688". The old idler was a plastic one on the outer part. The old one lasted 25 years, I hope this one will run at least half that long. This is on a 1990 Chev . 1/2 ton truck with 350 V8

Fit perfect and squeaky bearing noise gone.

exact fit
It worked well for only 3 seasons not 4. But it looks exactly like the one I replaced and I had no problems with the installation.

Does not fit 5.9 Cummins.
The pulley is fine but it does not fit the belt tensioner on a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins. This pulley has one bearing, the original pulley has 2 bearings. Because of this the shoulder bolt is too long and does not work. Amazon does list the correct pulley.
