Bluetooth 5.0 Car Adapter with AptX HD for Audi MMI 3G AMI Music Interface, Audi Symphony Concert, Mercedes Media Interface and VW MDI

I was looking a streaming solution for my 2009 SL550 (R230) with the NTG 2.5. This unit plugged in easily, was easy to pair, and the head unit immediatly recognized that it was installed and switched to media. Now I have bluetooth streaming from my phone without having to wire in a special device. The sound is good, and all the promised functions seam to work. I've got in and out of my car, and it immediately repairs and picks up playing where I left off. This is so much easier and quicker than taking the trim out, and splicing into the lines to add a bluetooth module. Pro tip! If you are lucky, you can wedge your phone into your cupholder.

So compared to the other Bluetooth adapters this one ACTUALLY works and doesn’t need to be disconnected and connected again for the adapter to turn on. As you can see in the pictures my S4 has the Audi concert system which doesn’t allow to play music though Bluetooth. As shown in the pictures the track name, and the time being play work just fine. The music also gets really loud and that wasn’t even max volume. I will update this later on Also the “skip song” feature doesn’t work and it will freeze the adapter and you will need to replug it for it to work again. Update: So the adapter has extremely long range (for some reason), and it’s always on so when you turn off the car the adapter stays on but it glitches so it’s constantly connecting to your phone so it’s annoying when I’m trying to use my airpods around my house.

El adaptador me funciona bien y cumple su función, al principio fue un poco difícil saber cómo usarlo para que funcione, pero una vez descubrí el truco puedo ir escuchando mi música perfectamente cada vez que uso mi coche, lo malo que al menos pasa en mi coche (Audi A4 2009 con sistema Audi Simphony) es que al conectar el dispositivo con mi teléfono no reproducía la música en el coche por más que en mi teléfono me mostraba que si lo hacía, entonces descubrí que tengo que tener la música reproduciendo y sonando en mi teléfono y una vez así conectar via Bluetooth al adaptador para que así deje de sonar en mi teléfono y se pueda escuchar desde los parlantes de mi coche… esto lo tengo que hacer cada vez que entro al vehículo y si que me toma de 2 a 3 minutos pero al menos a mi no me molesta… espero esta opinión sirva y ayude a alguien.

A bit pricey, but works great. Have used for many 6 months now. It connects every time I get in the vehicle. It has proven to be a great purchase.

Works way better than Bovee unit, I have two mercedes 2011 one e350 and an ml350, On Bovee I dont have track names, with Gtank, I see song title and artist, sound is way better than bovee too.

Any music or sound I play through this device skips incessantly. I thought it may be my phone causing the issue, but I’ve gotten a new phone since and it persists. I don’t think I’ve ever made it through a full song without skipping and pausing. Get a different brand of receiver. This one was a waste of $70.

**editing my review** The comments below are still true, HOWEVER, their customer service has been INCREDIBLE! They have been in touch with me twice to try resolve the issue. At the end of the day, they are sending me a compatible device. I will probably upgrade to 5 stars once the new device is tried and tested. ——————— 2011 Admittedly, this may be a compatibility issue, however for ME, this didn’t work. I plugged it into the connector in the glove box as the instructions state then paired my phone without ANY problems. Music played fine for 2 minutes then the device lost connection with the car. Phone still paired. See pics. Also, music info wasn’t displayed on the radio.

I use this for my Audi 2010 A4. For a while, I’ve been using the Anker FM transmitter to play music through Bluetooth. It worked great, but was usually intercepted by other radio frequencies since I live in the city. So, I gave this product a shot. The sound quality is incomparable to my previous FM Transmitter. I wish I’ve gotten this sooner. Fairly straight forward installation. Plug it in to your 30-pin and wait for it to synchronize. If it is not plugged in correctly (or is loose) it might recognize the phone, but not play music. Just reconnect the cables and the sound should come on. I highly recommend this product to anyone that owns a Audi B8 with MMI 3G. You won’t regret it!

Funcionó perfecto en mi A5 2014 no tengo nada en contra, cumple su función perfectamente.
