The plug is the correct size, the other side goes to four wires (and you want two wire) so I so soldered the old connector on. I replaced my younger cousin's charger port on her board because she had broken one of the prongs off of her other one. I give it 3 stars because although it works, the nut to screw the piece on was not the correct size. I had to shave the plastic down a little on the connector just to fit the bit over it. It was a hassle and poor craftsmanship. You don't make something and send it out knowing that it doesn't fit together, that's just wrong.

This was so easy to install. It was simple even someone whom is unfamiliar with electronics and motorized parts, such as me had no problem assembly it. It is taking a beating and standing up to it as well.

This is exactly what I needed to fix my son's hoverboard. They even included a washer to help keep the nut from loosening. Also included a rubber cap for the port. Well made too. Well worth the money. Delivered when they said it would be too. Very pleased.

This seems to be a very complete kit I'm pretty high quality and does everything you might need to replace the charging port on a hoverboard or other lithium ion powered mobile toys.

Fit perfectly and easy to install, but only if you don't want your hoverboard to work again! I had a Swagtron T580 that one of the prongs broke off on. I replaced with this port and charged for about 10 minutes, and the hoverboard was working and charging again! Left plugged in for a few hours and now it won't even cut on. There was a strong electrical smell and where it plugs in is black, so is part of the circuit board. Ruined an expensive hoverboard. I should've just gotten the part directly from swagtron. I contacted the seller and they only asked if I left it plugged in too long and now won't respond. Terrible purchase! Be careful if you decide to buy! Spend more money and get a quality part or you'll be buying a new hoverboard like I did 😔

Jack assy. was correct. However, It was wired back word at the white connector! I.E. the red & black wires were turned around in the plug. Fortunately, I am an electronics tech & caught the problem & corrected it before connecting power! I have no idea what would have happened if the charger were connected backwards to the hoverboard.

Great product! Wow when I opened my sons hover board I thought what crap! Can't believe i paid so much for poor quality! I ordered the charging cord wire I was stunned at how amazing the quality was and easly popped out the old broken one and popped in the new one and the hover board started right up! Thank you!
