This rating is just for my application it is high quality hose. This hose leaked at every connection when installed on my pool. Ten connections two pumps and heater, every connection leaked. Its heavy duty hose and I tightened it as tight as clamps would allow without breaking clamp or barb. I just could not stop the drip. I live in Texas and the standard plastic pump hose dry rots and I have to replace them every year. I was hoping this would last but just like the heavy duty hose I bought at hardware store the connections leak. I had to go back to the cheep stuff seals every time. Can't send it back because I cut it all up to fit my application. I sure wish it would have worked, it is so much better quality hose than what I am using. But if it won't work one star is what I will give it. If anyone has any ideas I am willing to try it I have all the hose already cut to fit.

How can I expand the I’d of hose? Having issue trying to fit on the Hayward pump and filter. The fittings are 1 1/2”.

Needed replacement tubing for our pool pump that had been leaking. We decided to get this and glad we did. It’s much more substantial than the one that came with the pump & will probably last a lot longer. My only complaint is that it came with the wrong type of clamps. It needs wire clamps to work with this type of tubing, not the flat ones that came with it which will not work. Other than that, it is a good product.

The quality of this hose is excellent. After letting it relax in the sun for a couple hours, I was able to make the turns necessary for my installation. The fit was perfect and the tube strength superb. I didn't think about it at the time of purchase, but the clear tube actually is very helpful. You can immediately see water flow and any debris that may clog the filter or hose. I'm very happy with this product and the 4 hose clamps were a big help. The hose tightened down and made a leak free, secure fit.

All the pieces that came with it are exactly as expected. The hose itself is very sturdy and durable. I used it on the intake of an aftermarket pump first my above ground pool. It worked great. I accidently caused my pool vacuum to get struck to the bottom and this hose was just fine after but the hose running from it to the vacuum caved under the pressure differential. The metal clamps that work with it meet expectations though do make installation a little hard. Not sure how it could be much better without a much more expensive clamp.
