This iconic Belleek tea set was designed in the 1890s by Frederick Slater to portray the essence of Ireland. He chose three elements, Shells to illustrate the island of Ireland, Harps to portray it's people and culture and Shamrocks representing its patron, Saint Patrick.

As lovely as expected
Ordered this lovely tea-for-one set for my husband for his birthday. It is as beautiful as one would expect from Belleek. It has been satisfactory in every way. It is even dishwasher safe. Great in a family where one drinks tea and one drinks coffee.

Belleek Pottery is sooo beautiful! I only have a few pieces but this is one that I will cherish. The pot holds just the perfect amount for one and makes me feel sooo special when I have my tea in the afternoon. We all deserve a little treat sometime to make us feel pampered. Treat yourself!
