This is the 2nd one I have bought, the 1st I used on the double bed in the spare room 30 depth, fitted perfectly, this one is 40 depth extra deep to allow for the mattress and mattress topper on my double bed. they are exactly what I was looking for, love the material nice and stretchy so easy to put on, bought them to replace ones I had previously, which had a paper like feel to the material that went round the sides and under the mattress, which were difficult to put on ,not stretchy so not a good fit.

As a teacup with dregs fell from overhead onto our bed i can vouch for the fact this is waterproof. There are no marks on the mattress thank goodness. It is a brilliant size for the caravan, no wrinkles

I got this as I wanted to protect my brand new mattress from spills and other bedroom fluids.I appreciate that different people prefer different things, so if you don't mind sleeping in a warmer environment and are not concerned by noise, this may work perfectly well for you.I wasn't able to make it one entire night with this cover on! I can get quite hot quite quick when going to sleep, and I need a breathable cover. This was not breathable at all - within 15 minutes of laying on it, I could feel my back getting sweaty. After I fell asleep I woke up in the middle of the night in the pool of my own sweat! It is most certainly water resistant! I had to take it off if I was going to get any rest.The other downside is the noise that it makes. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's certainly not silent. Any movement you make, you hear that plastic rubbing on itself kind of noise, which can be very distracting.Overall, if you prefer a cold and quiet environment when you sleep, please avoid this.
