This is a good product. Let me fill you in and set your expectations properly:Wearing these in cold weather will not feel like toasting your feet by the fireplace. Properly use though will extend your comfort and outdoor time. I used them for skiing, so I can describe that experience.We were in Wyoming in 24" of fresh powder with temps in the teens and twenties. The first time I used them, I kept them off and decided to turn them on when my feet got cold. Candidly, that seemed to have little effect, even as I increased the temp from setting 1 to setting 3.The next day, same conditions. This time I turned them on setting 1 while my feet were still warm and just put in the boot, and that made all the difference. The socks worked well in that my feet never got cold. Remember, it's not sitting by the fireplace, but that cold cold that starts getting painful...that was gone. It kept that up on setting 1 from 9am to 4:30pm. When I went to charge them, the battery was fairly spent from that.The design is good. The socks might be a little tight on my calves, but they need to support a battery tucked in, and they'd be useless if they slid down. The warmth wire runs down the calf, over the arch of the foot and under the toes. Originally I had pictured it being the whole of the foot bed, but since the battery can't sit in your shoe that wouldn't make sense. They optimized this the best they could.My only major gripe is the cost of extra batteries: it's an utter ripoff, akin to purchasing a whole other sock package. Because of that alone I'd be hesitant to recommend this to a friend. If you have the money to spare and like colder, outdoor activities this might be worth a look. If they cut the replacement battery cost in half or more (they'd still do well at that cost) I'd recommend these more wholeheartedly. It would give you the option to bring extra batteries and run them at higher temps for more time. Sure hope they fix that.

Save your money these socks didn’t get even warm. Disappointed!!!!

These just don’t work. The battery doesn’t last at all. I hope for the sake of the product that there was just something wrong with my batteries. I got, maybe, 30 minutes of “warmth” (it was more that my feet didn’t get cold than they were warm), and then my feet began to freeze like they normally do. I really wanted these to work. I read the reviews. I followed the advice of people who had better luck with them. Still didn’t work, and I ended up with frozen toes have to squeeze and wiggle them, praying for them to come back to life and almost in tears because they hurt so bad. The socks are also poorly sized. The calves are horribly tight, so you have to size up considerably, which likely impacts to performance of the “warmth”. But, that has nothing to do with the battery life. Batteries were fully charged when I put them on. The value is not there for these sock. Not for almost $300 for 30min. Disappointed would be putting it mildly. These went right back into the box and were returned.

Product fits great. Perfect in a ski boot (not too thick). I had other heated socks before and I could always feel the wiring around my toes. These socks are not like that at all. The only slight complaint is that I thought they’d be much warmer.

We did tons of research on heated socks prior to ordering. Though ended up returning item as husband didn’t like the fabric texture or bulk of the battery. We ordered Lenz brand instead.

These socks are great when you have cold feet. The battery lasts all day and it is easy to charge

Great product. Heats my feet in my Ski boots wonderfully.
